May 10: Ice Cream Nite: 6:30pm. Cold Stone Creamery, 2821 Telshor Blvd. In honor of Mother’s Day we will pay for any club member who is a Mom that attends.

the winds. I’m sure those that were looking for a shop-ping experience were some-what disappointed. There’s always next year, so lets look ahead. Three cheers to Rona for chairing this year’s celebration of the British Motorcar complete with pip-ers and an old west shootout.

The TorC drive and the rallye were a big success.

A big thanks go out to all those who helped pull this off.

We had a good showing this year even though we had a lot of bumps in the road along the way. Seventy Five cars registered but because of high wind warnings a num-ber of the Arizona partici-pants left prior to the show and a number of those who stayed also left early Sunday. Oh, these spring winds are a pain and they sure put a damper on what was other-wise a good show. Most people I talked to had an enjoyable time even though quite a number of vendors at the Farmer’s Market did not set up that day because of

For Sale: Thinning out my inventory and a reduced price on '94 JAGUAR 6 cylinder XJS 2+2, which was awarded 2nd in Class at the 2012 British Car Days Show. Tan interior. The seat skins, carpets, and door cards are all new, as is the convertible top and its cover. It starts, runs, steers, and stops as it should. The paint is very good to excellent, as is the chrome. The glass is

excellent. The AC is cold, and everything works on the car. The factory BBS lattice wheels have been re-finished. The battery, alternator, and spark plugs were replaced and LOF performed in January of 2012. Included are all the owner's manuals (some are original-quality reprints), the shop manual for the car, and electrical diagrams. There is a fitted car cover and a new set of Lloyd front floor mats. The car has 77,150 miles on it and is currently registered in Texas, where it easily passed its state inspection. Because the car is in such nice condition I'm asking $6,000. For Sale: Tire and wheel sets: Each are 15 inch diameter wheels and have standard 4 bolt lug nut pattern that will fit a variety of LBCs like Triumph or MGB. The offset spacing of the wheels is for Triumph. All are in excellent condition. Set 1: 5 wheels and tires. Wheels are steel with 4 having the “Dunlap” mark-ings. All have Pirelli P4000, 205/70P15, Super Touring tires (very hard to find) with less than 2000 miles on 4, and zero miles on the 5th. $600 for set. Set 2: 4 wheels and tires. Wheels are Minator 5Jx15 mini-lite style. Tires are Michelin WRX, P205/70R15 with about 4000 miles on them. $500 for set. MGB transmission. This came out of my 74 B and has about 75,000 miles on it. I wanted an overdrive which is why it was swapped out. No problems with this transmission at the time it was removed. $100 or best offer. Triumph TR8 transmission. 5 speed. Will also fit some TR7s and other vehicles. No idea if it is 100 per-cent, but it feels good to shift. $50.
