NOW THAT YOU ARE HERE, WHY DON'T YOU STAY FOR A WHILE...You've been waiting for 10

years for this time to come. Waiting for life to get easier and anticipating on technology to be the answer to all your problems. Waiting for it to make a difference in education, with your cars, cell phones and other forms of divisive entertainment. So improved communication technology is what you want, improved communication technology is what you get!

Now lets get moving on this journey!

WHERE IT ALL STARTED…People of 2023 A.D., one thing you must remember to do is to NOT forget what existed way before all the technology that we have now was created. Lets take a look at a timeline of what technology was like 10 years ago…

YOUR MEMORY HAS BEEN REFRESHED ON THE TECHNOLOGY THAT ONCE WAS, NOW LETS TAKE A LOOK AT WHAT THERE IS TO EXPERIENCE NOW!

The Importance of Education

•Education has always been the key to ensure a positive and productive future for students to become explorers, innovators, and educators themselves. •How students were taught ten years ago has changed in 2023 A.D. and has opened up a wide variety of outlets for learning. •Teachers will be able to be more creative in their ways to teach students and keep them interested.•Students will be excited more than ever to learn in the classroom with the new technology that will be available for them to use.

Uses and Gratifications Theory•This theory is an “approach to understanding why and how people actively seek

out specific media to satisfy specific needs. UGT is an audience-centered approach to understanding mass communication” (Wikipedia).

•This approach is important to education because learning and teaching in school is something that will never go away but will always have a high demand

of creating new innovative ways through technology to make the classroom more appealing to students and teachers.

CLASS IS NOW IN SESSION. The future of technology has become

something like you have never seen.

Classrooms now have multi-touch screen tables.

Each of these tables have text books and lesson plans downloaded into them. Students no longer need to pack around books or even have a need for a pencil or pen.

All the student has to do is sit at his or her desk and select the lesson the teacher has instructed them to pick by using their finger to activate the program they need.

These tables can also sense when a student is having trouble with an assignment and alert the teacher that they need help.

Entertainment Evolution

•From the beginning of time, people have always used different forms of entertainment as a way to escape reality.•The enjoyment that comes from different forms of entertainment is something that everyone has in common with each other. Whether it is the enjoyment of using a smart phone to access social media or if it’s from watching movies on a 3D television screen from the comfort of your own home.

Moore’s Innovation Adoption Rate

•This theory has been referred to as being “the relative speed with which members of a social system adopt an innovation. It is usually measured by the length of time required for a certain percentage of the members of a social system to adopt an innovation” (Vincos).•Adoption can go through changes slowly. You have adaptors who take part of the innovation early and you also have those who join at the very last.

CAN I SEE YOUR PHONE PLEASE?

• The future of the smart phone is now like no other.

• You are now able to start you cars and unlock the doors to your home by pressing a simple button on your smartphone.

• Phones are also holographic now and shown right into the palm of your hand. This phone is now indestructible and can’t be dropped.

• Accessing social media sites will be even more amazing, allowing your loved ones to be shown as holograms while using applications such as Skype.

Transportation Benefits

•The security and safety of cars has always been important to those who own them. Features such as being able to be connected to devices that can lock your car doors and start your engine before you get to it is a high demand. Digital car readings and voice control are good communication technology additions to vehicles of 2023 A.D.•Cars that can fly is an option for some that will be able to cut down on the expense of gas and of travel time. It’s also an added bonus to be in the clouds while flying your car, allowing yourself to experience a different type of scenic route.

Roger’s Diffusion of Innovations

•This theory is one that “seeks to explain how, why, and at what rate new ideas and technology spread through cultures” (Wikipedia).

WILL YOU BE IN THE AIR OR ON THE GROUND TODAY SIR?

• Cars of 2023 A.D. will give you the option to fly above ground or coast on the roads we all used to know.

• The car can start by using voice activation and will not start using any other voice besides the ones that the owner authorizes.

• Not only do these cars fly, they can also fly on their own, they can be autonomous as well.

• Flying your car will help save gas, is safer, and can cut down on travel time.

• Your smartphone is connected to your car as well and can be used to be notified when you need gas, give your directions, and even let you know when someone unauthorized is trying to gain access into your vehicle.

NOW THAT YOU HAVE MADE IT TO THE FUTURE OF 2023 A.D. AND SEE WHAT ALL IT HAS IN STORE, YOU HAVE TO MAKE A DECISION. WILL YOU STAY? OR WILL YOU GO? EITHER WAY YOU CHOOSE, 2023 A.D. TECHNOLOGIES WILL STILL BE HERE WAITING FOR YOU….
