The system of collecting data for research projects is known asresearch
methodology. The data may be collected for either theoretical or practical
research for example management research may be strategically
conceptualized along with operational planning methods and change
management.
Some important factors inresearch methodologyinclude validity of
research data, Ethics and the reliability of measures most of your work is
finished by the time you finish the analysis of your data.
Formulating of research questions along with sampling weather probable or
non-probable is followed by measurement that includes surveys and scaling.
This is followed by research design, which may be either experimental or
quasi-experimental. The last two stages are data analysis and finally writing
the research paper, which is organized carefully into graphs and tables so
that only important relevant data is shown.

SUGGESTIONS
&RECOMMENDATIONS

8/2/2019 Brm_a 12 Report

Cricket is popular because it has big stars, glamour, and money. Efforts can be made to
make hockey that much popular. Game should be made glamour, aggressive and
attractive. India should go back to winning ways in Hockey to retain interest of the
people.
To improve the standard of Indian Hockey more tournaments need to be played in India
frequently.
IOC should soon build a body for hockey and setup good administration and the officials
should be the past players who are retired. Like the IPL, hockey too needs boost. Players
are more over joining cricket instead of hockey as cricket is giving more money and fame
to individual players. To improve Hockey in India the sports ministry needs to thinkseriously.
Hockey should be promoted well by known personalities and more awareness should be
made in public. We know cricket can be played anywhere but hockey does require place
to be played that is one of a big reason for not being a popular sport here in India.
The interest of people in hockey declined with declining performance of Indian team
internationally. It may also be noted that the Indian team's performance is affected due to
& since Astro Turf (artificial turf) is introduced in international tourneys. The sheer pace
& not the Indian style of passes and artistry are encouraged on astro turfs. Nevertheless
our team should prepare for the new techniques.
Need to improve and provide good infrastructure and facility for our national game i.e
HOCKEY.
