Haunted Gingerbread Houses (Ages 2-11)

Boooooo!!!! Create your own Halloween Haunted Gingerbread House. You

will be provided with all sorts of ghoulish candy and zombified treats. The

houses will be made out of graham crackers for easier handling and deco-

rating. Children 5 and under must be accompanied by an adult. This class will

fill up fast, so sign up as soon as possible!

Dare to venture out into the moonlight for a monster egg hunt (search for

This is a great way to introduce your child to gymnastics with the comfort of

attending with a parent. Participants will learn the correct way to tumble

while working on their balance and form. They will all get a chance each week

to learn skills on the uneven bars, balance beam, trampoline, and even vault.

This is a great chance to socialize and introduce them to the sport. Family and

friends will be invited to watch the last 10 minutes of the final class so partici-

pants can perform what they have learned. Parents are always welcome in

class! Children should attend barefoot.

Pre-registration required. Registration will end one week before start date.

No class 11/6, 11/27 and 12/4.

Baby Gymnastics (Ages 1-2)

This is a great way for your new walker to explore

climbing, hanging, balancing, and event tumbling

with the comfort of attending with a parent.

Participants will all get a chance each week to learn new skills of the bar, bal-

ance beam, trampoline, and event vault. This is a great chance to socialize,

explore, gain confidence, problem-solve, and have fun. Family and friends

are always invited to watch. Children should attend barefoot. Parents may

wear socks but no shoes.

Broad Ripple Park has what you need to be green. We have recycling bins

for cardboard, paper, and cans. Recycling is located in the back of the park

by the tennis courts and is accessible only by the Evanston Street entrance.

PLEASE DO NOT stack items outside of the bins.

Broad Ripple Bark Park

Does your pooch need a little off the leash fun and exercise? Broad Ripple

Park’s Canine Companion Zone is the place. Simply bring in a copy of your

dog’s shot records to the family center. Your dog(s) must be up to date on

Rabies, Distemper, Parvo, and Bordetella. There are two types of passes

available. Daily passes are valid for the day of purchase or consecutive

days. The second type of pass is our annual pass which is valid from January

to January.

Pattern Piecing Boot Camp

Whether you are looking to increase your Halloween game or trying to make

the perfect cape for your cosplay, this workshop will teach you how to

Frankenstein patterns together to create your own costume piece. This class

With the holiday season right around the corner,

come learn the basics of flower arrangement to

Learn a wide range of self-defense options to a variety of physical move-

ments. These classes are great for the entire family at a very low price. A fee

Hollywood comes to Broad Ripple! The Creative Kids Talent Workshop

program offers acting classes and more. Your child will work on

commercials, films and videos, as well as learn to write, storyboard, and

produce their own shows. They will work on acting and presentation

while bolstering their personality and self -esteem. Most importantly,

the classes are designed for FUN! The classes are taught by professional

actor/director Michael J. Ferruzza. He has trained and guided the career

of working TV, film and commercial actors, models and talent since 1981.

This FREE class features a total body health and fitness program through the

Marion County Health Department and the National Institute for Fitness and

Come and join the FUN! Zumba is a unique Latin inspired international music

Prenatal Yoga (Ages 18+) Instructor: Mimi Sosa

Don't miss this opportunity to learn and enjoy the physical and emotional benefits of prenatal yoga. The class will help prepare for birth, and help tone up after birth. Kids Bollywood (Ages 5 -12)

Instructor: Usha Sirimalle

Bollywood is a fusion of traditional and

classical Indian dances with the influence of

some jazz, hip-hop, and modern dance. It is a

creative mixture of technique, energy, and

emotion; but most of all it is massive fun! Learn poses, grace, hand and foot

movements and expression– all integral parts of Bollywood dance. The mean-

ings of the songs are explored and students will be able to ‘dance and act’

This upbeat and high energy class teaches the fundamentals of hip hop

choreography by working on a combination each class. We will also play fun

My First Dance Class (Ages 2-5) Instructor: Jennifer Sams

This class is an excellent way to introduce your child to a structured dance

class. Participants will learn and complete several fun movement songs. We

will complete a warm-up, take a turn on the trampoline and balance beam,

play movement to music, games, and much more. Participants will be

introduced to hip hop, ballet, tap, and jazz all in one class. Please wear

socks and tennis shoes to class, although we will sometimes remove them

to go barefoot.

class will focus on terminology, rhythm, grace and

strength by completing tap exercises, learning rou-

This dance-fitness course uses exercises practiced by professional ballet com-

panies is designed for students of any age of ability. Ballet Barre combines

techniques from multiple low-impact disciplines, beginning the class each day

on mats to ensure a strong muscular foundation. With a focus on coordina-

tion, balance, and flexibility, students strengthen abs, tone hips and thighs, lift

glutes, and sculpt lean, strong arms.

Low Impact Aerobics (Ages 18+)

Join us for this workout designed for those who seek low impact exercise.

Great program for the senior exerciser. Class will include low impact aerobic

movement and a variety of core exercises to strengthen the whole body.

The class is also appropriate for pregnant women and those recovering

from an injury. It is good practice to see your doctor before starting any

Bollywood (Ages 18+)

Bollywood is a fusion of traditional and classical Indian dances with the influ-

ence of some jazz, hip-hop and modern dance. It is a creative mixture of tech-

nique, energy and emotion but most of all massive fun. Learn poses, grace,

hand and foot movements and expression, all integral parts of Bollywood

dance. The meanings of the songs are explored, and students will be able to

dance and act them out.
