The VSMA601C and VSMA611C features include 6kV combinationwave surge protection on the RF input port and 6kV ring wave surge protection on RF output/remote power port. This is the highestlevel of surge protection available and meets the requirements of IEEE C62.41-1991 Cat. B3 and A3.
All F ports are nickel-plated, precision-machined brass with 360 style FPort inserts and meet the requirements of ANSI/SCTE 01-1996 (SCTE SP-400). All ports are hermetically sealed to withstand 30psi ofpressure for 60 seconds. The zinc die cast housing is triple plated formaximum corrosion resistance, even in the harshest environment.
The VSMA601C and VSMA611C are powered by a low noise GaAsMMIC that provides consistent downstream gain over the life of theamplifier. The internal diplexer provides a full 52-1000MHz amplifierforward band and a true 5-42 MHz passive return band.
All 600C series amplifiers can be powered by our 110VAC/12VDCpower adaptor directly or with an optional power inserter. The power adaptor is manufactured with PTC technology or over currentprotection and has 6kV surge protection on the AC input port.

Proformance by The new VSA 600 C Series amplifiers offers the latest advances in technology in a residential amplifier. Available in one, four and eight output design all C Series models include 6kV combination wave surgeprotection on the RF input port and output ports, except for the remotepowering ports which have 6kV ring wave surge protection. This is thehighest level of surge protection available and meets the requirementsof IEEE C62.41-1991 Cat. B3 and A3.
All F ports meet the requirements of ANSI/SCTE 400-1996 and all RF ports come with 360° type inserts and provide excellent center conductor contact. All F ports are hermetically sealed to withstand 30 psi of pressure for 60 seconds. The zinc die cast housing is triple coated to provide maximum corrosion resistance, even in the harshest environment.
The VSA 600 C Series is powered by a low noise GaAs MMIC that provides consistent downstream gain over the life of the amplifier. The internal diplexer has been upgraded to provide a full 52-1000MHzamplified forward band and a true 5-42MHz passive return band. The new enhanced digital splitter in the four and eight output modelsoffer -110dBc intermodulation after five 6kV alternate +/- surges oneach port.
All VSA 600 C Series amplifiers can be powered by our 100 VAC/12 VDCpower adaptor direct or with a separate (optional) power inserter. The power adaptor is manufactured with PTC technology for overcurrentprotection and 6kV surge protection on the AC input.

Proformance by The Viewsonics VSA 800 series power doubling broadband amplifier isdesigned for indoor applications that require high output levels.Manufactured with hybrid IC’s providing 33dB of gain in the forwardpath and an optional, field installed, 18dB of gain in the return path.The VSA 800 series is available in forward bandwidths of both 870MHzor 750MHz as well as diplexer frequency splits to accommodate differ-ent system configurations.
The VSA-800 Series is equipped with variable slope and gain controlwith optional Phillips style plug-in pads and equalizers.
