Broadcasters Foundation of America A Charity Devoted Exclusively to Helping Broadcasters in Need
About the Foundation
Our Mission: The mission of the Broadcasters Foundation of America is to improve the quality of life and maintain the personal dignity of men and women in the radio and television broadcast profession who find themselves in acute need. For more than 65 years, the Broadcasters Foundation of America has provided financial support to those broadcaster industry professionals who are unable to work due to tragic, life-altering circumstances. The Foundation reaches out across the country to provide an anonymous safety net in cases of critical illness, advanced age, death of a spouse, accident and other serious misfortune. It is the only charity devotedly exclusively to helping broadcasters in dire need.
The Broadcasters Foundation of America is a 501(c)(3) public charity.
Message from the Chairman
I am honored to have served as the Chairman of the Broadcasters Foundation of America for over 15 years. We are very fortunate to have such a committed Board of Directors and many key industry supporters of our mission. Through their commitment, and from charitable donations within the industry, the Broadcasters Foundation has been able to give out millions of dollars, to over one thousand broadcasters and their families in need of our assistance. I am proud to be a part of this great organization. Sincerely, Philip J. Lombardo Chairman, Broadcasters Foundation of America
