2008 Highlights
• Record revenue level $4.66 billion up $882 million over 2007
– GAAP EPS increased 11% year-over-year– Cash flow from operations of $920 million
• Gained significant market share in 2008– Revenue grew 23% versus industry (WSTS) which
declined 3% year-over-year– One of the fastest revenue and EPS growth of any
of our semiconductor peers in 2008
• Economic slowdown did impact 4th quarter results– Customers adjusting orders and inventories to try and
align them with a new “estimated” level of demand– No one knows where that level is
• 2009: Shifting focus from profitable growth to protecting cash flow while investing to gain market share
– Goal is to generate more than $75 million in cash flow from operations a quarter
– Taking advantage of downturn to try and increase our lead over our competition
