F403023Black Range Hood

The F40000 series provides installation flexibility with 4-way convertibility to fit virtually all applications. The hood is designed for under cabinet use and installs as 3-1/4 in.x 10 in. ducted opening with vertical or horizontal ducting; or 7 in. round vertical ducting or as non-ducted with air recirculation. The hood features a fan designed for yearsof trouble free service, an easy to clean grease filter, a protective lamp lens that distributes light evenly over the cook-top and control switches for fan speed and lightactivation.

Four-way convertible; installs ducted 3-1/4" x 10" (vertical and horizontal), 7" round (vertical) and non-ducted. TYPICAL SPECIFICATIONRange hood shall be Broan Model F40000.

Unit shall be convertible between ducted using a washablealuminum filter (included) and non-ducted (purchase non-ducted filter separately).

Motor to be permanently lubricated. RPM not to exceed2850.

Unit shall have a two-speed fan switch with separate lightswitch.

Sides shall be mitered and bottom edge hemmed - with nosharp edges.

Air delivery shall be no less than 160 CFM and sound levelsno greater than 6.5 Sones (3¼" x 10" horizontal and verticaldischarge) or 190 CFM at 6.5 Sones (7" round discharge). Allair and sound ratings shall be certified by HVI.

Unit shall be U.L. listed.
