General Guidelines

Enrollment will be based on students having a “C” aver-age GPA or higher, be a junior and/or senior, pass EOC tests, have high a endance rate, and low discipline in-frac ons. 

A bus will pick up students from their perspec ve high school, or students may drive to the Career Magnet Center with parents’ permission. 

All meals will be eaten at the student’s high school dur-ing regular lunch periods. Students who drive may bring a lunch to eat in the Commons Area before class begins. 

 

Education is the KEY to a strong community

Career Magnet Center Goals: 

CMC prepares students for the world of work.  CMC provides free dual enrollment courses.  Students earn high school and college credits simultane-

ously.   Grades are recorded on high school and college transcripts.  Students earn industry based cer ficates.  Students work with industry mentors.  CMC environment will mirror industry.  Students may par cipate in industry internships. 

CMC will provide a smooth transi on to college and careers.
