Description
The iCUBE rear-projection display modules from Vistrol are based on Texas Instruments DLP projection technology, designed specifically for mission critical applications in a 24/7 continuous operation environment. The cubes are designed to be stackable as high and as wide as the available space allows, and are ideally suited to provide a super high-resolution display in a collaborative work environment.
To further enhance the iCube technology, Vistrol have launched iCube Gaia series, which incorporates various market leading technologies including, Automatic Alignment, WiFi Connect, and Redundant Power on top of the current technology which includes OpticSync, and Maintenance Free Technology.
√ Independent Color Adjustment Circuit (ICAC)
Most suppliers in the video wall industry employ RGB 3-color or RGBCMYW 7-color regulator circuits to uniform colors throughout the entire wall, which suffers from complex operation and poor effects. The 408-color axis stand-alone regulator circuit of iCube Gaia series not only reduces color distortion but represents images in their true and natural form. It also provides enriched color presentation and perfects full screen color uniformity.
√ ColorSync
ColorSync is an intelligent color sensor built-in into the light path of the projection engine for automatic adjustment of brightness and colors to ensure uniformity of the video wall. This is especially useful during change of light source and regular maintenance to save on time and effort.
Brilliant Color Reproduction
√ AutoAlign (AA)
One of the most difficult part of setting up a VideoWall ought to be image alignment and color & brightness adjustment. To achieve this, engineers will have to sit infront of the VideoWall for days, to perform calibration. To solve this issue, Vistrol successfully developed AutoAlign technology to solve this issue, the first in the market. With AA incorporated into iCubes, image alignment and color & brightness adjustment will take only minutes. This is achieved with the following combination: -

Reliability
√ Redundant Power (optional)
Power supply modules are vulnerable in an electrical system because of the heat generated and the impact of power line disturbance.
The control room is usually operated 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Vistrol cubes are equipped with a dual power backup design. In the unlikely event that one of the power modules malfunction, the backup power supply will instantaneously take over to power the cube. This switching process is completely seamless.

To ensure 24/7 continuous operations, Vistrol have placed extreme focus on reliability and durability. All Vistrol products are designed along with our Maintenance-Free Technology, to ensure our customer’s video wall continuous operation well beyond the market standard of 100,000 hours for LED-lit iCube or 60,000 hours for Laser-lit iCube.
√ Advanced modular design
The core in a Vistrol cube is a modular designed Light Engine. Power system, lighting system and core optical modules are separated as independent modules and can be exchanged independently. This design simplifies the cabling and eliminates messy wiring. It also reduces signal interference and increases the operation stability.
√ Light Engine with dust-proof design
The Light Engine is the heart of a cube. Dust from the small gaps entering the light machine will greatly impact the cube’s performance and lead to lower brightness and decreased contrast. Vistrol’sopticalengineisequippedwithadust-proofdesign(IP5X).All components in the optical path are dust proof and airtight protected. This breakthrough design leads to a completely dust-free operation.

√ Copper Heat Pipe Cooling technology
The performance and life of the illumination system is highly dependent on its cooling technology. A decrease of temperature by 10 degrees Celsius, can increase brightness by 20% and potentially double the light source lifespan. Vistrol is using the most advanced heat pipe cooling technology in cooling design. It brings down the light source heat generated by a thermal exchange system.
Through extensive Research & Development, Vistrol has successfully developed the OpticSync technology, which combines Fresnel, Lenticular and Optical lens technology to produce optimum color uniformity brightness between screens. This is especially useful in a multi-screen installation, where individual screens are required to produce the same color and brightness, even when viewed from an angle.

√ Smart Matrix
The built in Smart Matrix function allows for up to two simultaneous inputsourcestooverlap(PIP)perdisplayacrosstheentirevideowall.Unlike conventional PIP functions, which only allow two overlapping images per videowall, the Smart Matrix will allow for multiple PIP instances across the entire videowall. In the application of small controlrooms(lessthan12screens),itprovidescustomersanoptionto save the high cost of an external processor. The result is increased frame rate, better image quality and a more reliable system.

OpticSync Technology
WiFi Connect enables control and monitoring of iCubes via a smartphone. Unlike conventional IR remote control, smartphone is convenient and easy to use.
