    Manual ProbeHeadPH150Cascade Microtechs manual ProbeHeads offers the advantages of proven high quality, superior mechanical and ergonomic design, andcomplete product line compatibility. The PH150 has proved to be the most accurate and robust positioner in the market. By using thenest precision components and expert assembly techniques, PH150 achieves true submicron positioning with zero backlash.

    The PH150 incorporates an independent and uninuenced X, Y and Z stage system which is free of mechanical crosstalk deviation. Eachstage is made of aluminum and uses precision cross roller bearings assembled under exact torque measurements.

    In addition to superior mechanical design, Cascade Microtech always adheres to detail regarding ergonomics and exibility. The PH150has a travel range of 10 mm on both the X and the Y axis and 8 mm in Z.

    The faceplate of the PH150 provides additional coarse Z movement of 7.5 mm for maximizing the exibility of the ProbeHead. Additionallyall probe arms can be xed in different places on the faceplate to broaden the positioning scope. This highly precise positioner is designedwith interchangeable arms such as triax, Coax, and Kelvin, as well as arms for backside probing. This variety gives the operator highestapplication exibility, covering DC and HF as well as high-voltage and low-leakage testing with the one ProbeHead body.

    Cascade Microtechs gold-plated collet clamping design provides maximum exibility and freedom to adjust the needles to threepredened angles while guaranteeing that the tip is held rmly in place.

    The user has the choice of a Z axis with a left- or right-handed thread. The PH150 vacuum base allows PH150 to be rigidly mounted on theplaten, as the entire footprint is encompassed by a rectangular rubber lip. Actuation is controlled by a convenient, body-mounted, easy

    touch lever to avoid gross probe needle deviation in Z direction. Magnetic or clamping bases are also available.
