As ever all the camps are set in extensive school grounds with great facilities for a fun-packedweek.Butweknowitisthestaffthatmakethecampsandchildren’sexperiencesspecial. They are recruited on the basis that they have the maturity, personality, caring attitude, enthusiasm and activity ideas to keep things interesting and fun even in wet weather.Andwearedelightedwehavealotoflastyear’sstaffreturningtocreatelotsmore fun in 2013.
Remember activities are tailored to the age group so that the youngest child on camp can have just as much fun as the oldest.Eachactivitysessionisonly45minutessothere’slots of variety each day; a mix of indoor and outdoor activities encouraging creative, imaginative, physical and social play.
Our 2013 theme weeks are to include Beach Party, Once Upon A Time, At The Circus and Inside The Pied Piper Games Console. And watch out for the fun days of Pyjama Day, Crazy Hat Day and the ever popular colour days.
So if you are looking for someone to entertain your child or a treat for your child during the long Summer holidays, Pied Piper camps are where children can have safe fun and parents peace of mind.

2013 CAMP VENUESCopthorne (Crawley/East Grinstead) Our longest running camp with excellent facilities to enable us to run a firstclassSummerCamp;coveredheatedswimmingpool,superblargesportshall,extensiveplayingfields,twoadventureplaygrounds,greatwoodland area and plenty of indoor playing space too. Very conveniently located just off the A264, between East Grinstead and Crawley.
Ardingly College (Nr Haywards Heath) Based in the lovely Farmhouse Pre-Prep - a superb secure environment with lovely bright activity rooms and ample outdoor space. The children love to explore the woodland areas and revel in the great outdoors as well as have use of the fantastic swimming pool, gym and sports hall of
the main school. Great playground area for the roller racers and pedal go-karts. Less than 10 minutes to the north of Haywards Heath.
Great Ballard (Nr Chichester) A rural location, but easily accessible being less than 5 minutes drive from the A27 between Fontwell and Chichester. The children tend not to appreciate the beautiful surroundings but do love the freedom offered by the extensive grounds. “Capture The
Flag” in the fantastic woods is a camp favourite. A well established camp with a lovely swimming pool for children from Midhurst, Chichester, Bognor Regis, Arundel and surrounding villages to enjoy.
Oakwood School (Nr Chichester) A great hit for children from Chichester, Bosham, Portsmouth/Havant and surrounding villages. Set in lovely spacious grounds with a covered swimming pool, gym, theatre, adventure playground and fantasticwoodlandareasforthePiedPiperfavouritesofdenbuilding,40/40,capturetheflagandtreasurehunts.SituatedtothewestofChichester,justfiveminutes’drivefromtheA27.
Lancing College Prep at Mowden (Hove) Pied Piper Lancing Prep/Mowden provides a unique opportunity for children from Brighton and Hove to experience a quality multi-activity day camp. A very central location (proving very convenientforparents)thatboaststwolargeplayingfields,Astroturf, adventure play area, outdoor stage and gym. The twoinflatablewaterslides,‘SlipandSlide’matsand40footinflatableobstaclecoursewereabighitlastSummer.

ESSENTIAL INFORMATIONBOOKING Bookingoperatesonafirstcomefirstservedbasisandweplacestrictlimitsonthenumberofchildrenthatweallowoneachweek. Once the week is full we do operate a waiting list. Upon receipt of a booking form an Information Pack will be sent to you.
ACTIVITIES Ouractivitiesprogrammeisflexibleandcanbechangedtomakeitmoresuitedtothepreferencesandmake-upofthegroup.Although we try to ensure that all the activities we offer are available during each week, as a result of bad weather or other unforeseen circumstances this cannot always be guaranteed.
TERMS OF BOOKING 1. The contract between you and us
i. The contract is between Pied Piper Activities Ltd (the Company) and the parent or person having the lawful day to day care and control of the child named in the booking form (the Adult). ii. TheAdultconfirmsthatheorshehasreadthesetermsofbusinessandagreestothem.
iii. The duration of the contract between the Company and the Adult is set out in the booking form. A deposit of £25 will be required for each child for each week the child attends with balance due 1st June 2013. 2. Cancellation Charges
i. Cancellations must be made in writing. ii. The Company will charge a cancellation fee on the following basis and in respect of each child who does not attend:-
More than 28 days before the start of camp – loss of deposit. 28 – 15 days before start of camp – loss of 60% of total price. 14 – 1 days before start of camp, loss of 100% ofthe total booking price.
iii. The Company is unable to offer refunds or alternative days to make up for any days missed by a child except where covered by insurance. iv. In the event that the Adult fails to pay the balance of the booking fee by the due date the Company reserves the right to cancel this
contract and the booking fee shall be automatically be forfeited. v. In the unlikely event of the Company having to cancel the camp as a result of war, strikes, lock-out, severe adverse weather conditions,
disaster or any other case of force majeure or otherwise outside the control of the Company no compensation will be paid to the Adult and no booking fee or deposit will be refunded. vi. IntheunlikelyeventthatinsufficientnumbersofchildrenarebookedforanyweektheCompanyreservestherighttocancelanyweekof activities in which case alternative dates will be offered or full refund paid to the adult who paid the booking fee. 3. Insurance
i. Your children, whilst with us, are covered under our Public Liability Insurance. If you require Personal Accident Insurance, it is available through most insurance companies.
ii. In addition to Public Liability cover the Company can also offer insurance cover at low cost for cancellatiion and curtailment of the holiday due to illness. This can be particularly useful if your child misses a few days. 4. Conditions on which children are accepted
i. The Adult must declare to the Company in respect of every child whether the child suffers from allergies or any medical condition of any kind or has special or dietary or other needs necessary for the wellbeing of the child. ii. Everychildwhoattendscampmustbefit,ableandingoodhealth.Nochildwithacontagiousdiseaseorwhohashadacontagiousdisease within 28 days of the commencement of the camp will be accepted. Every child will be expected to participate in all activities.
iii. If a child has a medical condition (i.e. any condition which at any time has required reporting to a general practitioner or nurse or hospital foracourseoftreatmentorobservation)itmustbenotifiedtotheCompanyatthetimeofbooking.TheCompanyreservestherightto refuse a child admission to the camp if the child is suffering from a condition which has not been disclosed. iv. TheCompanyreservestherighttoexcludeorsendhomeachildafterthecamphascommencedifintheCompany’ssoleopinionachildis persistently naughty or disruptive, or if we feel their attendance affects the good atmosphere of the camp. Transport home will be the responsibility of the parent/guardian and no refund will be made for days missed or cost of transport. 5. Consent
i. At the time of booking every Adult will provide a written authority to the Company in respect of each child taking part in the camp acknowledging that every child will be participating in supervised outdoor activities and that:- a) each child can take part in all the activities offered by the camp (e.g. woodland games and swimming) unless an activity is expressly excluded in writing and acknowledged by the Company in writing as being the case. b) toeachchildreceivingfirstaidfromtimetotimeifnecessaryorothermedical,dentalorhospitaltreatmentorassistance.Inthe unlikelyeventthatachildwillrequiremedical,dentalorhospitaltreatmenttheAdultwillbenotifiedassoonaspossibleandinall other eventualities at the end of each camp day. 6. General points
i. No liability is accepted for any personal injury, fatality to a child or for any loss, damage to personal property, unless caused by the proven negligenceoftheCompany’semployeesoragents.
ii. The Company operates independently of any school or centre used for the camp activities. iii.Alldetails,facts,photographsandothermaterialintheCompany’swebsiteandbrochurearepublishedingoodfaith,buttheCompany reserves the right to change any details at any time if it should become necessary.
iv. From time to time we take photographs at camp that may be used for marketing and promotional purposes. If you would rather your child was not included in any photographs we must be informed either at the time of booking or in writing before camp.
v. Pied Piper staff have a duty to respond if they suspect a child in their care may be suffering from abuse, or if a child makes a disclosure about abuse. In this event staff will follow the Pied Piper Child Protection Policy, which includes advising the relevant local authorities.
vi. We need to collect some personal details from you and the children on your booking wso we can process your booking, such as names, ages and any applicable medical or dietary restrictions. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the necessary permission to pass on the personal details of all the children that your are making a booking for. Additionally, we would like to hold and use some of your details for future marketing purposes, for example sending you promotional information. Please let us know as soon as possible if you do not want to receive future mailings from Pied Piper.
