Scroll through the slides to discover the various materials available to
assist you in sharing MAF’s ministry. You will be given these items in your MP boxes, and they can be
reordered from the Supply Order Form.
General MAF Information
MAF Main Brochure
The main brochure contains information about MAF’s history, the three modes of service – Aviation, Technology, and Training, has a map showing where we serve, tells how ministry partners can make a difference and includes a few quick facts on the back. It even has a pocket for putting your prayer card in!
Flight Watch
Flight Watch is MAF’s quarterly magazine full of ministry stories, and news from around the MAF world. There is a missionary featured in every issue. There is also a Technology story and News Briefs. All of the people who support your ministry will receive a copy.
Fact Sheet
Produced yearly, the fact sheet has vital ministry facts and statistics from the previous year. This is a great complement to the Main Brochure and is a good addition to your display table.
Calendar
The Calendar is a great tool for introducing people to the work of MAF. You might want to write your name on the giving envelope to remind people how they came to receive the calendar and stick a prayer card in it as well! There is a limited number available.
Doctrinal Statement
The MAF doctrinal Statement is a great item to include in packets you are giving to pastors or mission committees. Keep them on hand at your display table but not necessarily out front for everyone to take.
You Can Pray
This can be quite a useful tool if you personalize it to your own family’s prayer requests. Put them out on your display table for anyone to take.
Outcomes and Impact 2014
This major donor magazine was developed to tell donors how their gifts made a difference through the work of MAF. It gives a few statistics and tells a snippet of what is happening in the countries we serve.
MP & Financial Information
Where your support dollar goes
Ever wonder how the support dollar gets divided up? This is the brochure for you! It is great for explaining to prospective donors and churches, pastors, finance committees, mission committees where their support goes. This works well with the MP Question and Answers leaflet. Usually you wouldn’t put these out front on the display table.
Ministry Partnership Brochure
This is the second most effective giving device among donors, the first being your Prayer Card. This brochure attempts to answer the questions most often asked by prospective donors. It will be included in your acceptance packet.
ECFA – Our Commitment to
You
This leaflet is produced by the ECFA, of which MAF is a charter member. Great for mission committee packets and finance committees and pastors, Not usually out front on the display table.
(EFCA-Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability)
Annual Report
This yearly report tells where we served, how we served (stats), how much was brought into MAF as income and how much was spent. A list of the Board of Directors is also included in this report. This is the 12 page version sent to Major Donors with more stories in it. Again, this is reserved more for pastors, mission and finance committees rather than being set out front on your display table.
The Sending Church
This MP brochure explains the concept of the Sending Church and what a church could expect from their missionary that they are “sending.” Great to include in a pastor’s packet or mission committee. Keep them on hand behind your display but not out front.
Coffee Concept
Does one of your champions want to help you out by inviting some friends over to hear about your ministry? This is the brochure for them – full of fun ideas to help break the ice and introduce their friends to you!
Bookmark (personalized)
Like “You Can Pray”, this little bookmark is personalized to your prayer requests and you can even put in your own photo. The front side is color, the back is printed in black and white.
