Students will study concurrently at both institutions throughout their program, while enjoying the best of both the university and the college. Our new GAME programs will prepare students for work in the digital game and interactive media industry. Students will explore game design, art creation techniques and the production process of game creation. Students will have opportunities to conceive, design, plan and develop a number of game projects. Visit brocku.ca/game for more information. Brock’s Grape Stomp one of Canada’s top university tradtions The annual Brock Grape Stomp, held each September, has been ranked as No. 2 out of nine traditions listed by University Affairs magazine. Nearly 1,000 students participate in our messiest tradtion each year - stomping over a metric tonne of grapes, while celebrating Brock spirit and our location in Niagara. Grand opening of the Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts Our new home for the Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts (MIWSFPA) has officially opened its doors. The state-of-the-art facility is a combination of new modern space and the renovated historic Canada Hair Cloth building. The MIWSFPA accommodates 500 students and the departments of Dramatic Arts, Music, Visual Arts and the Centre for Studies in Arts and Culture. Our students have access to the latest in learning technology, an advanced digital lab, performance, recital, practice, lecture, design and workshop spaces. Learn more at brocku.ca/humanities/departments-and-centres/fine-and- performing-arts Alumni Field opens The Brock Badgers men’s and women’s lacrosse teams were the first student- athletes to use the new artificial turf athletics field during our homecoming weekend. While Brock’s varsity teams in lacrosse, rugby and soccer will use the field for their home games, Alumni Field will also be used by the nearly 7,000 students who participate in our intramural sports programs. The field is regulation-size, with a full lighting system for night use.

Increased values for Brock Scholars AwardsOur Brock Scholars Awards are automatic for all incoming students entering their first undergraduate program.

One application - over $1,000,000 in funds availableStudents need only complete one application - the OneApp - in order to be eligible for almost all of our student awards and bursaries. We offer over 150 donor-sponsored awards each year, in addition to bursaries valued up to $3,000. The deadline to submit the OneApp is March 31, 2016. Please note, students do not need to have received an offer of admission prior to submitting their OneApp.

Specialist High Skills Major programsWe are always happy to host large groups or Specialist High Skills Major classes on our campus. We will work with you to create a custom program including reach-ahead experiences or experiential learning opportunities for your students.

Options include:• lecture shadowing• campus tours• meet and greet sessions with academic advisers• discussions with student leaders of academic clubs and organizations• lab demonstrations/research discussions.

New scholarships are available for 2016! Graduates of a Specialist High Skills Major program entering Brock with an admission average of 80 per cent or higher will be awarded a $500 scholarship. Eligible students must complete the OneApp by March 31, 2016 in order to receive the award. Visit discover.brocku.ca/awards to learn more.
