NETS QUICK HITS

PACING AHEAD See the chart for a look at the Eastern Conference teams with the biggest jumps in win totals from

last season to this season. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Brooklyn tied for the sixth-biggest win improvement from last season to this season

among all NBA teams.

JOE BUCKETS FROM DEEP: See the charts for

players with the most 3FGM off the bench in Nets history (left) and most 3FGM off the bench in a season in Nets history (right).

HISTORY: Joe Harris has made 235 threes as a Net, just one 3FGM shy of moving into a tie with Lucious Harris for 10th place in Nets history in 3-pointers made.

See the chart for the highest 3FG % posted by a player in Nets history. LAST SEVEN: Harris averaged 16.9 ppg (.627 FG, .568 3FG, .867 FT), 3.6 rpg and

2.7 apg in 27.1 mpg, scoring 10+ points in all seven, marking his longest streak of double-digit scoring games since a career-best eight-game streak (1/12 – 1/26).

In his last two games (both wins), Harris started and averaged 16.5 ppg (.706 FG, .700 3FG, 1.000 FT), 4.0 rpg and 6.0 apg in 29.3 mpg, posting his two highest single-game plus/minuses of the season (+24 on 4/5 at Milwaukee, +22 on 4/7 at Chicago).

Harris missed his first two games of the season due to injury (sprained left ankle) in the last two games of the campaign. 3/25 vs. CLE: Harris had a career-best performance against Cleveland on 3/25, registering a career-high 30 points (previous high was 21) on

11-of-14 FG (career-high 6-of-7 3FG) with seven rebounds in 27 minutes off the bench. Harris became the eighth Net since 1983-84 to score 30+ points in a game off the bench and the first since Brook Lopez in the 2014-15 season (1/30/15 vs. Toronto).

ABOVE THE BREAK: See the chart for league leaders in 3FG % from above the break this season (min. 250 3FGA). Above the break threes encompass any 3-pointers that are not shot from the corners.

SINCE JAN. 1: In 2018, Harris’ 3FG % (.467) was the second-best in the league (min. 100 3FGA). For the full season, Harris was 17th in the league in 3FG % (.419), which marks the

highest finish for a Net since Jordan Farmar shot .440 from distance (eighth in the league) in the 2011-12 season.

ROAD: In 39 road games this season, Harris shot .466 (76-of-163) from 3-point range, including .561 (46-of-82) in 21 road games in 2018.

Among players with 100+ 3FGA on the road this season, Harris’ 3FG % was second, trailing only Joe Ingles (.477). Among players with 75+ 3FGA on the road in 2018, Harris’ 3FG % was first in the

league (next-best: Ricky Rubio at .494). Harris’ .466 3FG % in road games this season was the top single-season mark in

franchise history (min. 100 3FGA on the road in that season). PRE/POST-ASB: See the chart for a look at Harris’ key stats before and after the All-Star break

this season. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- > DRIVES: Among players with 100+ FGA on drives this season, Harris’ .627 FG % was the best

in the league, just ahead of LeBron James (.603). EFF. FG %: Harris ranked sixth in the league in Effective FG % at .612, trailing only Steph Curry among guards/wings (Effective FG % is a stat

that adjusts FG % to account for the fact that 3-point FGs are worth one more point than 2-point FGs). TRUE SHOOTING %: Harris was 11th in the league in True Shooting % (.634). PAINT WORK: See the chart for a look at the improvements Harris made scoring in the restricted area this

season vs. last season. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- > PACING AHEAD: Harris averaged single-season career-bests for ppg (10.8), rpg (3.3), apg (1.6), FG %

(.491), 3FG % (.419), FT % (.827) and mpg (25.3).

JARRETT ALLEN DEVELOPS Jarrett Allen made his NBA debut on 10/20 vs. Orlando.

Allen is the third teen to don a Nets uniform. ROOKIE RANKS: Allen shot .589 from the field (first among

rookies) and .776 from the FT line (seventh). He also averaged 1.2 bpg (first), 2.0 offensive rpg (second) and 5.4 rpg (seventh) and led all qualifying rookies in True Shooting % and Effective FG %. Among all players, Allen is 17th in the league in bpg this season.

In his lone collegiate season at Texas, Allen shot .564 (84-of-149) from the FT line. HISTORY: See the chart for the highest bpg for a Nets rookie in franchise history. ----------------------- >

Allen became the fourth player in Nets history to lead all qualifying rookies in bpg. He joined Brook Lopez (2008-09), Sean Williams (2007-08) and Kenyon Martin (2000-01).

4+ BLOCKS: Allen had four points, 10 boards and a career-high five blocks in 31 minutes on 4/5 at Milwaukee. He became the first Nets rookie with a five-block game since Brook Lopez (2008-09).

Allen followed up that performance with a pair of four-block games (4/7 at Chicago and 4/9 vs. Chicago), becoming the second Nets rookie since 1983-84 to block four or more shots in three straight games (Kenyon Martin in the 2000-01 season).

The only rookies to block four or more shots in three straight games in the last 20 years are Allen, Yao Ming (2002-03), Martin (2000-01), Lamar Odom (1999-00) and Tim Duncan (1997-98).

STREAKING: Allen recorded at least one block in 14 straight games, which marked the longest streak in the league for a rookie this season. See the chart for the longest streaks of games with at least one block for a Nets rookie since 1983-84. -------------------------------------------------------------------- >

In those 14 games, Allen notched multiple blocks 10 times and averaged 2.6 bpg. He was second in the league in bpg in that 14-game stretch (since 3/16), trailing only Anthony Davis (3.1).

He has 23 multi-block games, which marks the most for any rookie this season. Allen’s 88 blocks are the most in a season for a teenager since Anthony Davis

(112) and Andre Drummond (95) in the 2012-13 season. STARTING: Allen started each of the last 31 games he appeared in (since 1/30 at New York),

averaging 10.5 ppg (.621 FG, .805 FT), 6.4 rpg, 1.0 apg and 1.7 bpg in 23.8 mpg. His Net Rating (0.7) was the best on the team since he joined the starting five.

INCREASES: See the chart for a look at Allen’s improvements this season. ---------------------- > DUNKS: Allen had a team-high 117 dunks this season, 14th-most in the league and the most for a Net since Brook Lopez in the 2009-10

season (126 dunks). HOT FROM THE FIELD: See the chart for Allen’s FG % improvement in the

Restricted Area since Jan. 1. -------------------------------------------------------------------- > Among players to attempt 200+ shots from the field since 1/1,

Allen’s .637 FG % ranked fourth in the league. Allen became the first player in Nets history to shoot .550+ from the field (.589) and .750+ from the FT line (.776) in a full

season. Allen also became the third rookie in NBA history to shoot .550+ from the field (min. 300 FGA) and .750+ from the FT line (min.

100 FTA) in the same season, joining Jonas Valanciunas (2012-13) and Jeff Ruland (1981-82). Allen’s .589 FG % is the second-highest for a teenager in NBA history (min. 300 FGA in a season), trailing only Andre

Drummond, who shot .608 from the field as a 19-year-old in the 2012-13 season. Among Nets rookies to attempt 300+ shots in a season, Allen’s FG % is the second-best in franchise history, trailing only Mason

Plumlee’s .659 FG % in the 2013-14 season.

QUINCY FACTOR Quincy Acy posted a career-high 21 points (career-high six 3FGM) in 23 minutes off the bench on 4/7 at Chicago.

.745 of Acy’s points came off of 3-pointers, which is the third-highest % in the league (.788 for Wayne Ellington and .781 for Troy Daniels). He’s also tied for fifth in the league in charges drawn this season (21).

Acy made multiple 3-pointers in eight of his last 11 games, shooting .463 (19-of-41 3FG) in that time. Acy shot .395 from 3-point range since the All-Star break, up from .333 prior to the break. CRABBE BREAKS OUT CAREER NIGHT: On his 26th birthday, Allen Crabbe scored a career-high 41 points (12-of-15 FG,

8-of-11 3FG, 9-of-9 FT) with five boards and four assists in 34 minutes on Monday vs. Chicago. See the chart for a look at career-highs Crabbe established in the game (* - tied a career-high). --------- >

Crabbe became the third player in the Brooklyn era (since 2012-13) to record a 40-point game, joining Bojan Bogdanovic (44 points on 3/15/16 vs. Philadelphia) and Deron Williams (42 points on 3/8/13 vs. Washington).

Crabbe became the first player in more than 18 years and just the 10th player in regular season NBA history to register a 40-point game on 15 or fewer shots from the field, joining Alonzo Mourning (1999-00), Shaquille O’Neal (1999-00), Reggie Miller (1994-95), Cedric Ceballos (1992-93), Rolando Blackman (1985-86), Adrian Dantley (1983-84), Artis Gilmore (1976-77), George Gervin (1976-77) and Gail Goodrich (1973-74).

Crabbe is the first player in NBA history to record a 40-point game while making eight or more 3-pointers and shooting .800 or better from the field.

Crabbe’s FG % (.800) is the best FG % in a 40-point game for a Net since 1983-84. Otis Birdsong previously held that distinction, shooting .760 en route to 42 points on 12/11/84 at Boston.

Crabbe became the third player in Nets history to make eight or more 3-pointers in a game twice, joining Joe Johnson and Deron Williams. Crabbe and Johnson (2013-14) are the only Nets to make eight or more threes in a game twice in a season.

Crabbe’s 29 points in first half marked the most points for a Net in any half since Joe Johnson’s 29 points in the second half on 12/16/13 vs. Philadelphia and the most points for a Net in a first half since Deron Williams’ 33 on 3/8/13 vs. Washington.

POST-ASB: Crabbe averaged 15.1 ppg (.435 FG, .414 3FG, .878 FT), 4.1 rpg and 1.6 apg in 28.8 mpg. Brooklyn’s Offensive Rating was 5.9 points per 100 possessions better with Crabbe on the court since the All-Star break, which marked the top mark on the team.

LAST FOUR: After missing the 4/3 game at Philadelphia due to illness, Crabbe averaged 25.5 ppg (.561 FG, .523 3FG, .938 FT), 5.3 rpg and 3.0 apg in 27.9 mpg in his last four games, scoring 20+ points in three of four contests and making five or more 3-pointers in all four.

He became the only Net to make five or more 3-pointers in four straight games in franchise history. He became the second Net this season to tally 20+ points in three straight games (4/5 – 4/9), joining Spencer Dinwiddie from

1/3 – 1/8, and the three straight 20-point games mark a new career-high. He also made 18 3-pointers in that three-game stretch, which marks the

most 3-pointers made in a three-game stretch by a Net in franchise history.

His 86 points in that stretch also marked the highest-scoring three-game stretch of his career (previously: 77 points from 2/7 – 2/12).

SINGLE SEASON: Crabbe made five 3-pointers on 3/23 at Toronto, becoming the all-time single-season Nets leader in 3-pointers made (see chart). ------------------------------ >

HOME: See the chart for the most 3-pointers made by a Net at home in a season in franchise history (*note: six of Crabbe’s 3FGM at home this season came in Mexico City).

He’s seventh in the league in 3FGM at home this season. 20-POINT GAMES: Crabbe has posted a team-high-tying 16 20-point games this season. In his

first four NBA seasons, he scored 20+ points a total of 11 times. CAREER HIGHS: Crabbe averaged single-season career highs for ppg, rpg, apg, bpg and mpg

this season.

RHJ’S PRODUCTION Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, the longest-tenured Net, just finished his third season

with Brooklyn. He led the team in rpg and was second in ppg and double-doubles. See the chart for a comparison of RHJ’s key stats this season and his

first two seasons. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- > SINCE 3/8: In his last 17 games, RHJ averaged 13.8 ppg (third on the team), 7.6

rpg (team-high), 2.9 apg and 1.3 spg (tied for a team-high) in 29.4 mpg (second on the team), recording five double-doubles (team-high) and scoring in double figures 13 times.

STEPPING UP: Hollis-Jefferson was one of just six players in their first three NBA seasons averaging 13.5+ ppg, 6.0+ rpg and 2.0+ apg this season, joining Joel Embiid, Nikola Jokic, Dario Saric, Ben Simmons and Karl-Anthony Towns.

MID-RANGE: RHJ shot .435 from mid-range this season, up from .340 last season. SIDELINED: The Nets were 2-12 with RHJ out of the lineup this season (26-41 with Hollis-Jefferson in the lineup). Brooklyn was also 2-7 this

season when RHJ comes off the bench (24-35 when RHJ was available and in the starting lineup; the best starter winning % on the team).

After the All-Star break, Brooklyn ranked second in the league in 3FGM/game (14.4) and second in 3FGA/game (38.0), trailing only Houston. The Nets were seventh in 3FG % in that timeframe (.379). Prior to the break, Brooklyn was third in 3FGM/game (12.0), second in 3FGA/game (34.7) and 28th in 3FG % (.346).

RUSSELL RACES AHEAD FIRST 45: D’Angelo Russell recorded 699 points, 230 assists and 178 rebounds, while connecting on 83 threes, through his first 45 games as

a Net. He’s just the third player in franchise history to record 650+ points, 200+ assists, 175+ rebounds and 80+ 3-pointers in their first 45 games of a season, joining Vince Carter (2008-09) and Jason Kidd (2005-06).

3/23 at TOR: On 3/23 in Toronto, Russell recorded his first-career triple-double with 18 points, a career-high 11 rebounds and a career-high 13 assists in 31 minutes.

Russell became the first Net in nearly eight years to register a triple-double (Terrence Williams’ triple-double on 4/9/10 vs. Chicago was the Nets’ last prior to Russell).

The Nets had the second-longest active streak of games without a triple-double, trailing only Utah. The Jazz’s last triple-double came courtesy of Carlos Boozer on 2/13/08 at Seattle.

See the chart for the list of the youngest players in Nets history to register a triple-double. ------------------------------- >

3/13 vs. TOR: Russell put together one of the most electric individual performances in a quarter in Nets history, registering 24 of his 32 points in the opening period in Brooklyn’s loss to Toronto on 3/13.

Russell became the first Net to score 24 points in a quarter since Mirza Teletovic tallied 24 points in the second quarter on 1/24/14 vs. Dallas. He also became the first Net to score 24 points in a first quarter since Vince Carter on 4/9/05 vs. Boston.

The 24 points in the first quarter marked the most points scored by a Net in a quarter this season and marked the most points tallied by Russell in a quarter in his career. See the chart for the most 3FGM in a quarter in Nets history. ------------ >

The 32 points marked Russell’s third 30-point game of the season. The three 30-point games are the most Russell has posted in a single season in his career (he had four 30-point games in two seasons with the Lakers, with two apiece in his rookie and sophomore campaigns).

OF LATE: Russell recorded five double-doubles this season after registering three in his first two seasons combined. Russell tallied 21 points (9-of-21 FG) with 11 assists, six rebounds and two steals in 26 minutes on 4/9 vs. Chicago. His 20-point

game was Russell’s 15th of the season, one game shy of matching Spencer Dinwiddie and Allen Crabbe’s team-high of 16. The performance also marked the second 20/10 game of Russell’s career (previously: 22 points and 10 assists with the Lakers

vs. Denver on 1/31/17).

STARTING: In 35 games as a starter this season, Russell averaged 17.2 ppg, 4.3 rpg and 5.8 apg in 27.7 mpg.

KENNY ATKINSON

Kenny Atkinson was named as the 21st head coach in Nets NBA history on April 17, 2016 and enters his second

season on the sidelines in 2017-18.

Atkinson joined the Nets after spending the past four seasons as an assistant coach with the Atlanta Hawks under

head coach Mike Budenholzer. The Hawks made playoff appearances in each of Atkinson’s four seasons, including

the club’s first-ever trip to the Eastern Conference Finals in 2014-15. The 2014-15 Hawks registered a franchise-

record 60 wins, including a franchise-best 19-game win streak, and captured their first division title in more than 20

years. Atkinson served on the 2015 Eastern Conference All-Star coaching staff, and he guided Team World in the

BBVA Compass Rising Stars Challenge during All-Star weekend in New York. Prior to his tenure with the Hawks,

Atkinson was an assistant coach for four seasons with the New York Knicks (2008-12), helping the team reach the

postseason in 2011 and 2012. Atkinson also spent one season as the director of player development for the Houston

Rockets (2007-08).

A native of Northport, New York, Atkinson has also held various coaching positions abroad, serving as director of player development/assistant

coach for Paris Basket Racing Club in France (2004-06), director of player development/assistant coach for the national team of the Republic of

Georgia in the summer of 2006 and as an assistant coach with the Ukraine national team at the European championships in 2011. Most recently,

Atkinson was head coach of the Dominican Republic national team in the 2015 FIBA Americas Championship in Mexico City.

Prior to beginning his coaching career, Atkinson played professionally for 14 years (1990-2004), beginning his pro career in the CBA and USBL

before competing for teams in France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands and Spain. A standout collegiate player at the University of Richmond, Atkinson

earned All-CAA First Team honors as a junior and senior and helped lead the Spiders to a Sweet 16 appearance in the NCAA Tournament in 1988.

He was also selected as the 1987 CAA Rookie of the Year. Atkinson was inducted into the University of Richmond Hall of Fame in 2010.

Atkinson and his wife, Laura, have a son, Anthony, and a daughter, Annika.
