Results:

•9582 ‘requirements’ for synthesis•4474 (~47%) with no available channel => cannot be satisfied

- Of these had one or more acceptable channels•2.7 available channels per requirement•25 incompatibilities per requirement•330 (3%) requirements with no incompatibility•4067 (~42%) with 1 available channel and between 1 to 214 incompatibilities

- Many incompatibilities => unlikely to be satisfied•Up to 227 incompatibilities per requirement

•9582 ‘requirements’ for synthesis•991 T-DAB requirements with 32 available frequency blocks•6 available channels per requirement•75 incompatibilities per requirement•Up to 607 incompatibilities per requirement•All requirements have at least 1 available channel•1678 – No incompatibility => get a channel•1665 – only 1 available channel => satisfied => coordinated well•5962 (~63%) with 1 available channel and 1 to 379 incompatibilities

- Many incompatibilities => unlikely to be satisfied

Results:

•38602 ‘requirements’ for synthesis•3274 (<10%) have no incompatibility•18881 (~49%) with 1 available channel and 1 to 300 incompatibilities

- Many incompatibilities => unlikely to be satisfied•7207 with 49 available channels•Each AC requested by 7800-8400 requirements – ‘evenly’ requested

Results:

•38602 ‘requirements’ for synthesis•All requirements have at least 1 AC•11948 requirements with no incompatibility => get a channel•11866 – only 1 available channel => satisfied => coordinated well•28521 (~74%) with 1 available channel and 1 to 1170 incompatibilities

- Many incompatibilities => unlikely to be satisfied

Conditions:•Analogue television assignments taken into account as indicated•Disregarded all requirements from all other administrations•Disregarded all analogue television and other primary service assignments of all other administrations

•Results for 22 administrations:- 2 administrations had all their requirements satisfied- 20 out of 22 cannot have all their requirements

•Some declarations referred to incompatibilities that do not exist•Declarations were not submitted for all members of linked requirements•Conversions failed because:

- Conversions were not indicated or incorrectly indicated- Converted requirement still has a larger service area after ERP reduction- Conversions from interfering analogue TV assignments

Conclusions

•Reduce the number of input requirements•Eliminate internal (national) incompatibilities and those with neighbours – but ONLY where such elimination is justified!•Reconsider the need for high transmitter power assignments•Consider the possibility for large assignments/allotments•Choose the appropriate Reference Network
