In 2015 we will fly from Newark to Brussels, Belgium.

We will stay in the Medieval town of Bruges (Brugge) for two nights. Bruges is a completely intact Medieval town.

Bruges is known as the “Venice of the North” due to its extensive canal system.

The canals lead to a serene lake.

During Medieval Times, widows of the Crusades lived in areas like this, called

the Beguinage.

Reminders of the Crusades and Saints abound in Bruges.

Handmade lace is a specialty of Bruges.

Chocolate is also a specialty of Belgium

Then it’s on to Strasbourg, France on the German border. We will stay here for two

nights.

There is much German influence here.
