Brush SWA - Morgan County From Brush, go 2 1/2 miles north on Highway 71, turn left on County Road U, then an immediate right on County Road 28, proceed for 1 mile to the south parking area. Another parking area is located on the north side of the river on County Roads T.9 and 27.

Wildlife Area Offers:

Hunting: Deer, Rabbit, Squirrel, Pheasant, Turkey, Bobwhite Quail, Dove, Waterfowl

Fishing: Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Blue-gills and Trout on Chartier Ponds

Recreation: Wildlife Viewing, Hiking

Regulations: In addition to or in place of those restrictions listed in regulation #900 the below listed provi-sions or restrictions apply (see Chapter 9, http://cpw.state.co.us/Documents/RulesRegs/Regulations/Ch09.pdf).

A. Public access is prohibited from 9:00 pm – 4:00 am, except with an authorized night hunting per-mit

B. Camping is prohibited. C. Fires are prohibited. D. Target practice is prohibited except when author-

ized by the area wildlife manager.

E. Horse use is prohibited, except for training hunt-ing dogs in February, March, April (through the Wednesday preceding the turkey season), and August.

F. All recreational activities, except deer hunting, are prohibited on the opening weekend of regu-lar plains rifle deer season and on the opening day and first weekend of the late plains rifle deer season.

G. The launching or takeout of vessels is prohibited during waterfowl seasons.
