Edmonton Eternity home field in beautiful Alberta in Canada.

After winning it all twice in a row, the Ed-monton Eternity are now looking to achieve something that very few teams have achieved in all of 41 seasons of Pro Brushback Baseball. And that is, to win 3 Pro Leagues in a row! Infact only one other did ever accoplished such a feat, we’re talking about the infamous Legion of Doom who during the seasons of 30, 31 & 32 dominated the Pro Brushback league winning those 3 champi-onships. Funny enough the team that went to all 3 of those finals was none other than the Edmon-ton Eternity. Guess they learned their lesson hey! I sure would say so, now they are on the other end of that spectrum, and with a real possibil-ity of matching those 3 straight championships that the LoD achieved. They are top of the class in the very strong East Alpha and if they manage to secure home field I don’t know if any team will be able to eliminate them in Alberta. That said, it sure won’t be easy, with lots of quality teams in the East, they will give it their best to not allow Edmonton to reach the third championship in a row. So what do we think are Edmonton chances

of making it 3 in a row? Well we dug a bit into their season. Currently Ed-monton has a balanced side, run scor-ing and run prevention both top 10, they also have a great defense and that as we all know is very helpfull in close games. And in the postseason there are lots of those. Still, nothing overly impressive, the team’s starting rota-tion seems solid with a couple of aces, but then it also seems to have some holes as well, same goes for the bull-pen who already blew 20 saves (at this time). In the offense there isn’t one su-perstar player, but they can score runs with some ease, and they work incred-ibly well as a team. Management and Ownership are top notch and usual-ly this team plays their best baseball when the playoffs arrive. So, while I wouldn’t say Edmonton is the hands down favourite to win the Pro league, I would say they have a great chance of making it 3 in a row!

Can Edmonton Eternity Reach Their Third Straight Championship!

A look at the AAA1 PlayoffsTaking a look at AAA1 we try to antecipate what teams will be moving on the the top league come season 43. I think we all expect to see the Avengers (who currently have the best record in the league) to move up to the Pros this season, after they failed to do so in season 41, they alongside the Isotopes seem to be the stronger teams, and given that they won’t be competing with each other unless they both reach the cham-pionship game, I’d say the odds are high that they’ll both move up. But, there are oth-er strong teams that can put a stop to this thought of mine, case and point the Narwhals, having a Onwer/Manager with alot of experi-

ence they know what it takes to have success, they already moved up once and now they are stronger than before. In my opinion they are the team that can stop the Avengers from either making the championship game, or even promote! New Albany will also be one tough nut to crack, they have been looking to move up for a couple of seasons now, but this season, they seem to have a good shot at it, they just like the Narwhals can create alot of dificulties to the favorites Isotopes. We can’t also rule out the Boston Hitters, another team that has been in Pro many seasons, has ex-perienced ownership and guidance and has talent as well. If they put it all together they are dificult to beat in any given day. Then to a lesser extent, I would put the Looney Tunes, the Boston Tea Party, the Sea Stars and the Shadow of Darkness (not in that specific or-der). So in this guy’s opinion, Avengers and Isotopes will be moving up next season. And then there’s two other spots up for grabs that 6 teams will do their best to grab.

So in this guy’s opinion, Aveng-ers and Isotopes will be moving up next season.

So there we have it, those are for sure some of the players we should keep an eye on to make a big impact in the Pro league. Most of them we’re sure will be there in season 43, others may not be so lucky, but re-gardless all of them have the poten-tial to become instant stars in the toughest league of them all. And to be perfectly honest, this list could of have many more players, that’s how deep AAA1 is nowadays talent wise, gone are the days that it was easy to promote to the Pro league, now every team that moves up is ready to cause a positive impact from the get go, well at least 90% of the time that is, because there are exceptions, usually the farm teams that move up tend to not do so well. Still, AAA1 is now a strong league, a league that has many players that would put to shame many players that currently play in the Pros. So we await with high expectation the performance of this 25 future stars, the expectations surrounding them are quite high, but we’re fairly sure that most of them will have a big impact in the league.
