I am seeking to obtain an international internship which would allow me to gain meaningful

work experience relevant to my studies while also having the opportunity to live abroad and be exposed

to a new culture. I am expressing my interest in the internship offered because I feel it provides me the

ideal opportunity to produce significant real world results by implementing the knowledge I have

obtained in my studies to help your organization meet and surpass its growth objectives. I am excited

by the prospect of new experiences and this passion has taken me to twenty different countries

traveling solo, so I can confidently say I will be comfortable working abroad and will not be on the first

flight home.

I have recently graduated from the University of Windsor with a Bachelor of Commerce and a

chosen concentration in marketing which consists of ten upper-level marketing courses. My interests

have led me to taking courses like Internet Marketing and International Marketing which, amongst other

courses in my concentration, makes me a qualified candidate for this position. My learning experience

in many of these courses was not limited to the lecture hall, as I was given the opportunity to conduct

real world market research studies and other various promotional activities with actual local

organizations. I am very proud of some of the creative ideas generated during these projects and would

love to talk in depth about them. Most of my elective courses have been computer and coding related

which lead to a minor in Applied Information Technology. I am extremely computer savvy, proficient in

Microsoft Office, and able to pick up on other programs very quickly.

I feel this international internship opportunity will put me in a creative mindset allowing me to

utilize my skill set to its full potential and achieve results beyond expectation for your company. Thank

EXPERIENCE Windsor International Film Festival September – November 2012

- Responsible for various pre-festival customer attraction activities including creating a mailing list consisting of a desired demographic to help promote the current festival and aide in the festivals multi-season expansion.
