Introduction of green technology

Green technology is a technology that provide us the clean energy and also helps

repair environmental damages or offers solution to wasteful practices. The green

technology is environmentally friendly, advanced and used in such a way so that it

doesn’t affect our environment and conserves natural resources. It uses renewable natural

resources that will not depletes easily, so it can also benefit our future generation. Green

technology contain various characteristic of technology which help us to reduce human

influence on the environment and create ways of sustainable development. Green

inventions are environmentally friendly invention that often involve energy efficient,

economic, social and environmental. Green technology uses different type of materials

such as non-toxic to produce thing. This technology can provide positive changes to us in

our daily life. By applying this green technology, our environment requires to recover

from pollution immediately. It helps to reduce pollution and improve the cleanliness of

our environment as well. Nowadays, many countries are changing to green technology to

protect the environment from negative impacts. By implementing green technology

wisely, our mother earth can be protected which reduces the negative impact of human

activities. It is important to protect our earth because when the earth is sick from

pollution, it will affecting on human’s health. Moreover, human being need to prepare

and participate in going green activity to make our mother earth become healthy again.

Human being should understand and aware the importance of green technology before

things become worst. There are various type of national green technology policy which

includes energy, environment, social and economy. To manage energy independence and

promote efficient utilization while the purpose for environment is used to conserve and

minimize the negative impact on the environment, energy can be used to implement it.

By using this technology, it can helps to improve the national economic development.

Besides that, to improve our quality of life, social can be used to implement it.

Effects of air conditioning system

Air conditioning plays an important role in our daily life. It provides us cool air to

cool down our interior’s air and to ensure we have a comfortable environment. During

hot summer season, the hot temperature is very high and air conditioning definitely is a

must equipment for us. It helps us to reduce the heat and humidity of our interior’s space.

It is important for us to stay and work in a comfortable environment because having a

comfortable environment will affect a person’s performance and mood. Besides that, air

conditioning will also help us to renew and improve the air quality of our house to ensure

us having clean air. Although air conditioning can provides us many benefits, but at the

same time it also brings many disadvantages to human being and our mother earth. Air

conditioning is the main contributor of causing global warming because turning on the air

conditioning will causes the release of carbon dioxide into the air and carbon dioxide is

the main element that will destroy our mother earth. Moreover, the increase of using air

conditioning will increase the production of greenhouse gases into the air. Due to the

global warming, air conditioning is also the one who is causing our environment to heat

up because when we are using the air conditioning, it will release the poisonous gas

which include chlorofluorocarbons and hydro-fluorocarbons into the air and causing our

environment become warmer and become not healthy. The continuous use of air

conditional not only will cause the happens of global warming but also leads harmful to

human health such as breathing problems, chronic headache, low blood pressure and so

on. It will become a serious problem if we did not take action about this concern.

Ways of air conditioning to enhance green technology

The air conditioning is one of the most important invention in our daily life. There

are many effects causes by using air conditioning. In this 21st centuries, technology is

very advance and it leads the scientist to come up with the creative idea of solution to

solve the problems of effect causing to the environment. There are some ways to reduce

the impact of uses air conditioning such as applying green technology. Many countries

already starting to use green technology in the industry. The main purpose of using green

technology is to sustain the environment. Nowadays, propane is one of the popular

solution because many people are using propane gas for their residential energy needs

because it does not harm the environment. Propane gas consists of hydrocarbon and it is

produce from natural gas and oil refining which can makes it a clean gas. It is usually

used in domestic fridge and freezer and can be stored and used at anywhere. The

appliance that contain propane are more energy-efficient than those are using electricity

or natural gas. Besides, propane is more environmental friendly compared to others

because it produces less pollution like carbon monoxide and nitrogen oxide than the

electricity, this will helps to protect the environment by providing cleaner air and

effectively when compete with others fossil and fuel on efficiency. Propane has great

compatibility with materials usually used in the construction of refrigeration and air

conditioning tools. In addition, propane also able helps to cut discharges and protect the

environment.

Variable air volume systems (VAV) is also one of the method to improve the green

technology. Variable air volume is a sort of system using a large handler and central duct

system to control the capacity of a heating, ventilating and air conditioning system. A

variable air volume system permit its damper to open or close to allow the air to flow

through. VAV systems were created to be more energy efficient and to provide the

comfort for different heating and cooling needs on each building’s needs. It is

responsible to maintain suitable levels of comfort in air quality, temperature and moisture

level. A building that contains the similar heat gain and heat loss characteristics in a

small room or cluster room. The VAV system should be used in a larger buildings that

often needs cooling because the system can only provide one temperature of air. There

are different parts consists in this system which includes air handling unit, the supply of

ductwork system and the return of ductwork system. The VAV controller receives the

flow signal based on the different pressure from the pick-up device mounted in the duct.

The changes of pressure in the duct system may cause by the filters or effects from other

rooms are rewarded automatically to become a true pressure independent system. VAV

systems is an economical system because it works right around the levels of the cooling

loads. Besides that, it requires a low cost for installation in this system and it also reduce

the system energy consumption cost. VAV system can control humidity in building zones

by separating the humidification and dehumidification equipment. Moreover, it has a

greater flexibility to varying loads which are easier zoned to control comfort and energy

saving.

Ice powered air conditioning is one of the company’s technology named Ice Bear

system. Ice bear turns the air conditioning into a more efficient appliances. It uses ice

batteries to cool buildings and helps to reduce a building’s total energy consumption.

Besides, it is compatible with 85% of all air conditioning unit. Ice bear is controls by

making ice during off-peak hours and releases by consuming the stored ice to cool

buildings during peak of the days. Ice bear system is a smart distributed energy storage

solution that work in combination with commercial direct expansion air conditioning

systems. The ice bear works by freezing 450 gallons of water in a tank at night and

making that offered for cooling the next day. It takes six hours for cooling when the ice

bear is switched its ice charging to ice cooling. This system usually deliver energy at

night when electricity generation is more efficient, cleaner and has lower cost, and

distributes the energy during peak hours to offer cooling to the building. Ice bear storage

consists of several benefits which can helps to reduce greenhouse gas emissions such as

carbon dioxide which could prevent early death. To allow the qualified HVAC

contractors can be trained easily to install and maintain the systems, ice bears can

produce significant commercial opportunities for local installers. The cost for ice

batteries is much cheaper than the lithium ion batteries. Furthermore, the ice storage

provides productive use of solar over generation, ice batteries can always work with solar

for the whole life. Both commercial and residential applications can be applied by ice

bear storage.

Next, chilled ceilings is a water-based cooling system which uses ceiling-based

radiant cooling panels joined with chilled water pipes or coils. It is usually used in those

building that requires energy use level below 50% in conventional buildings. It is vary

from chilled beams because they will depends on radiant as different to convective

heating or cooling. The combination of natural convection and radiation can cools the

room by using the system. The main heat which is the radiation will transfer mechanism

for chilled ceilings. The “radiant chilled ceiling system” and “radiant ceiling panel

system” are also another named of this system. The chilled ceiling consists of a metal

sheet with water pipes running above it. One of the benefits using chilled ceiling can

helps to improve thermal because not only indoor air temperature can be controlled but

also mean radiant temperature, it will increase the satisfaction of human thermal comfort.

Thermal loads are satisfied because the comfort levels is better than those of other space-

conditioning. Moreover, it can helps to reduce maintenance cost because this system does

not contain fans or filters to maintain and it only require service like vacuuming of the

dry coil.

Inverter technology is refer to the changes of the compressor speeds to maintain

desire temperatures with minimal fluctuations. The inverter air conditioning is becoming

one of the popular technology in the HVAC field due to its environmental friendly and

provides energy savings. One of the common way to use the inverter is when the

incoming AC supply to DC voltage and then modify it by changing the voltage, current

and frequency of the power to the compressor. For example, the air conditioner with

inverter technology works like an accelerator in a car. When compressor requires more

power, it will provides it more power. When it requires less power, it will provides less

power. The compressor used in an air conditioning system is an ON or OFF type, it is

works either at the maximum capacity or none at all. For this technology, it uses more

power or less power will only depends on the temperature of the incoming air and based

on the level set in the thermoset. This technology was established in Japan and it is being

used effectively for air conditioners and refrigerators. In this system, the only appliances

that can be used is spilt air conditioning. One of the most important factors is energy

savings because the benefit balances the initial cost in the long run. This technology can

reduce the uses of energy compared to the traditional system. In addition, the compressor

can run full speed to provide fast cooling to the room during start up. The fluctuation of

temperature is minimum compared to the ON/OFF type of compressor. It provides a

comfortable environment for the residents all the times. Another benefits that inverter

technology can provides is quiet operation. The external unit of the converter compressor

is much more silent than the non-inverter compressor.

Lastly, the problems of air pollution is getting very serious nowadays. We should

stop all the actions that are destroying our environment. Our mother earth is very

important to us because we only have one planet to live on. Our mother earth can live

without us, but we cannot live without our mother earth. Human beings have the

responsible to protect and conserve our nature environment. We have to save our mother

earth for ourselves and also for our future generation. We should appreciate and blessed

that the air we breathe for us to live in our daily life. We should take good care of the

beautiful trees that give us oxygen to breathe. At the same time, we should take action to

protect our environment. For example, we should prefer green technology instead of

using the technology that brings negative impact to our environment. I believe that every

of us makes a little changes, we still can make this planet to become a beautiful place.
