This qualification is suitable for people who coordinate and maintain the Work Health and Safety (WHS) program in an organisation. They may provide leadership, guidance and have some limited responsibility for the output of others. The qualification reflects the role of workers who have a broad knowledge base and well-developed skills in a wide variety of WHS contexts.

Every year, unacceptable numbers of workplace injuries and fatalities occur within Australian. The Victorian Government through the OH&S Act and the Federal Government WHS Act of December 2012, require business to be compliant and ensure a safe workplace. This course provides the knowledge base for that compliance.
