Eligibility: Candidates who have completed 10+2 in Science stream (All Boards) are eligible for admission to BS / BSc / BSc+ with PG Diploma courses.

Admission Procedure: Eligible candidates are required to appear for an interaction with experts of the School of Liberal Studies and Education.

Salient Features of BSc+ program

BSc+ ProgramCalled Bsc+, this inter-disciplinary science Program offers a BSc degree best described through three key words - science education, vocational focus and inter-disciplinarity. The BSc+ combines educational resources from three schools - School of Science Engineering and Technology, School of Business and Law, and School of Liberal Studies and Education.

Specializations offered Students have the option to major in Botany, Bio-Chemistry, Chemistry, Mathematics and Zoology; and minor in Physics. Additionally, students have to choose from Science Electives like Polymer Chemistry, Material Science, Nano-Chemistry, Paint Technology, Patent Law, Environmental Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Research Methodology, Herbal Technology, Diet and Health Management, Food and Nutrition, Operational Research Bioinformatics, Introduction to Neuroscience and Cognition, Genetic Engineering & Biotechnology and Probability Theory. BSc+ Program also allows students to choose courses across the University and receive a strong science education while developing expertise in Marketing, Human Resource Management (HRM), Accounting, Finance, Information Technology and Education (Guidance & Counseling) alongside Science Education through Certificate courses offered parallel.The BSc+ Program places special emphasis on development of analytical skills, communication skills, and entrepreneurship. The use of ICT tools is unique to the program. Choice-based electives from different Programs of the University offer opportunity to explore diverse interests in an inter-disciplinary manner and enlarge the educational space. Social connect and know-your-community is achieved through a hands-on project KHOJ, wherein students from many majors across the university work collaboratively and apply disciplinary education in an inter-disciplinary manner to solve complex social problems and bring about social innovation. A capstone project grounded in science and its application offers opportunity to demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in the sciences. The students in the Interdisciplinary BSc+ Program can choose to pursue any one of the following:• 3rd Year BSc with certificate in Business Management / IT / Education • 3rd Year BSc followed by 1 yr PG Diploma in Business Management/ IT /Education• 4th Year Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree with certificate in Business Management/ IT / Education

• Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India along with Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai, celebrated its Diamond Jubilee by organizing a Seminar and Exhibition on Nuclear Technology at BSc+ Program.

• National Science Day was celebrated at BSc+ Program by organizing Science Week which included Lectures by eminent speakers from different fields of Science and Exhibition of working models prepared by students.

• BSc+ students were selected for NIUS (National Initiative on Undergraduate Sciences) at BARC, Mumbai organized by Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBSCE), Tata Institute for Fundamental Research (TIFR), Mumbai for 3 years continuously.
