1.1 Fault finding chart and overview of all fault codes (in order and depending on the appliance) Faults Exxxx can be acknowledged and thus deleted by pressing the On/Off button on the appliance. Always start the customer service programme and read the error counter, where applicable, before carrying out any repairs. Document the fault code in the repair report. 1. General DBus 2 error Carry out a mains reset 2. During flashing of electronic modules there is no

communication with the MMB possible. Error is stored in the error memory after flashing. No error of the appliance! Delete error memory after flashing!

3. Poor plug connection (contact corroded/loose) Check the DBus 2 plug connection

4. Cable break Check the DBus 2 line

5. Leak rate affects DBus 2 signal Leak rate measurement on all welded joints in the oven cavity (only affects appliances with microwave)

6. Oven carriage/door cannot be fully closed Moisture in the appliance, check for leaks, soft-close system jams (only affects appliances with oven carriage)

7. Magnetron/antenna/hotspot (spark discharge) Max. output with/without/small load, magnetron, antenna, check/replace slider (only affects appliances with microwave)

8. Inverter earthing failed - poor screw connection (contact corroded/loose)

Inverter module housing earth → check/replace the screw/retainer

9. Error in the Operating Module Replace the Operating Module and after that carry out the Touch Calibration in the customer service test programme

Error D0532 or E0532 is displayed repeatedly 1. At appliances with halogen lamp, if the lamp cover

is fixed with only one screw: • Replace the lamp cover and fix it with two screws

(locking cap pos. 0941: 00632791, screw pos. 0198: 00632802)

2. If the Operating Module is covered with a transparent foil: • Remove the foil and replace it with the new

Operating Module cover (cover pos. 0171: 11003706) 3. At all appliances:

• Flash the Operating Module (IaB) and the Display Module (MMB) with actual software

• Carry out Touch Calibration in the customer service test programme

4. If the problem still exists / appears again: • Replace the Operating Module • Flash the Operating Module (IaB) and the Display

Use certification stamp for entry of the customer service menu: 1. Press two buttons with fingers (e.g. “timer” and “info”)

and use the stamp for the third button (“on/off”). 2. If entry still not possible: Use the stamp successively for the

buttons “timer” and “info” and press the other two buttons with the fingers.

3. If entry still not possible: Use the backside of a torx tool bit instead of the the stamp and repeat steps 1 and 2. Due to the smaller actuation surface this can lead to success when sensors are wrong calibrated.

4. If entry still not possible: • Replace the Operating Module • Flash the operating modul (IaB) and the display module

(MMB) with actual software • At appliances with Home Connect functionality:

Execute Home Connect encoding using iService • Adjust the variant code at the appliance • Carry out the Touch Calibration in the customer service

test programme
