Congratulations on the purchase of your Kaiser Baas Bluetooth Keyboard & Mouse. This user guide will help you to pair your Bluetooth Keyboard & Mouse to your computer or Bluetooth enabled device.

Connecting the Bluetooth Keyboard to Windows

It is recommended to pair and connect the keyboard to your computer before connecting the mouse. If your computer is not Bluetooth enabled, please install the provided Bluetooth receiver to connect to Bluetooth devices. Refer to page 8 for installation instructions.

Insert the provided AA batteries into the keyboard and slide the power switch underneath to the ON position.

Next to the ON/OFF switch is an ID button. Press and hold the ID button until you see a blue LED continually flashing.

This will allow the keyboard to be detected by your computer.

To add a Bluetooth device, click ‘Start’ > ‘Control Panel’ > ‘Hardware and Sound’ > ‘Add a Bluetooth device’.

Windows will detect the keyboard as a ‘Bluetooth Keyboard’. Select this and click ‘Next’. Windows will now display a code. Input this code on the keyboard to verify that you are connecting with the correct device, and then press ‘Enter’ on the keyboard.

Windows will prompt you when the code has been verified. Click the ‘Close’ button when complete. The blue LED will stop flashing.

Connecting the Bluetooth Mouse to Windows

Insert the provided AAA batteries into the mouse and slide the power switch underneath to the ON position.

Press and hold the ID button until you see a red LED continually flashing.

This will allow the mouse to be detected by your computer. To add a Bluetooth device in Windows, click ‘Start’ > ‘Control Panel’ > ‘Hardware and Sound’ > ‘Add a Bluetooth device’.

Windows will detect the mouse as a ‘BT Mouse’. Select this and click ‘Next’.

Windows will now connect to the mouse. When it has successfully connected, the necessary drivers will be installed automatically and the red LED will stop flashing. Click the ‘Close’ button when complete.

Connecting the Bluetooth receiver to Windows

Connecting the Bluetooth Keyboard to your Mac

For Windows computers that are not Bluetooth enabled, a Bluetooth receiver is provided so you can connect to Bluetooth devices.

Connect the Bluetooth receiver to a spare USB port on your computer.

Windows will detect the Bluetooth receiver and the necessary drivers will be automatically installed.

The Bluetooth receiver is compatible with computers running Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 only.

It is recommended to pair and connect the keyboard to your computer before connecting the mouse.

Insert the provided AA batteries into the keyboard and slide the power switch underneath to the ON position.

Next to the ON/OFF switch is an ID button. Press and hold the ID button until you see a blue LED continually flashing.

This will allow the keyboard to be detected by your computer.

Make sure that Bluetooth on your Mac is turned on. Open ‘System Preferences’ then select ‘Bluetooth’ from the ‘View’ menu. Select the ‘On’ checkbox.

To set up the keyboard, click ‘Set Up New Device’ and follow the on-screen instructions.

The blue LED will stop flashing when connected.

Tap the ‘Settings’ icon on the home screen then tap ‘General’.

Tap ‘Bluetooth’ and select ‘ON’.

Insert the provided AA batteries into the keyboard and slide the power switch underneath to the ON position.

Your Apple device will detect the keyboard as a ‘Bluetooth Keyboard’.

Select ‘Bluetooth Keyboard’ and then enter the pin code displayed on-screen.

When the code has been verified, the keyboard will connect to your Apple device and the blue LED will stop flashing.

Please note - some functions of the keyboard are not compatible with your Apple device.

Connecting the Bluetooth Keyboard to an Android device

The following instructions are for Android phones and tablets. Your Android phone or tablet must support HID devices. Refer to the user manual that was included with your Android phone or tablet for more information.

Insert the provided AA batteries into the keyboard and slide the power switch underneath to the ON position.

Next to the ON/OFF switch is an ID button. Press and hold the ID button until you see a blue LED continually flashing.

This will allow the keyboard to be detected.

Tap the ‘Applications’ icon on the home screen, then tap ‘Settings’.

Tap ‘Wireless and network’, tap ‘Bluetooth settings’ and tap ‘Scan devices’.

Your Android device will detect the keyboard as a ‘Bluetooth Keyboard’.

Select ‘Bluetooth Keyboard’. You will see a ‘Bluetooth pairing request’ message on-screen.

Enter 0000 or 1234, tap the ‘OK’ button and type the same pair code on the keyboard, then press the ‘Enter’ key.

When the code has been verified, the keyboard will connect to your Android device and the blue LED will stop flashing.

Please note - some functions of the keyboard are not compatible with your Android device.

1. Select [Register Bluetooth® Device] > [Register Keyboard/Mouse]. Up to two keyboard and mouse devices in total can be registered at one time. If you register another keyboard or mouse, information for the currently registered device with the oldest registration date and time will be overwritten.

2. Select [Start Scanning]. The PS3 will display a list of Bluetooth devices within range of the system.

3. Select the device that you want to register. When registering the keyboard, you must enter a pass key to complete the device registration (pairing). The PS3 system randomly generates the pass key. When registering the mouse, you do not need to enter a pass key. When the keyboard and mouse have registered, the LED on each device will stop flashing. When using a keyboard, you can clear the entire text entry field at once. Press the [Shift] + [Backspace] keys at the same time.
