ABOUT THE GAME Bucknell makes its second trip in three years to VMI’s Foster Stadium this Saturday for a 1:30 p.m. contest. The game will air live on ESPN3.com and it is Military Appreciation Day. The Keydets are coming off a three-point loss at Furman, a team that defeated UCF of the FBS. The Bison are coming off a bye week, but defeated Cornell in their fi rst road game of the year two weeks ago. Bucknell has defeated VMI each of the last two years.

ABOUT VMI• VMI is 1-3 overall and 0-1 in Southern Conference play.• The average winning score in VMI’s four games this season is 38.5 points.• Freshman RB Brice Tucker leads the Keydets in rushing this season with 307 yards on 65 carries.• 2014 Southern Conference Freshman of the Year Al Cobb has completed 94 of 158 passes for 1,120 yards and six touchdowns. He has also thrown nin interceptions.• Sophomore LBs Ryan Francis and Allan Cratsenberg ared tied for the team lead with 39 tackles apiece. DELMAURO NAMED A SEMIFINALIST FOR CAMPBELL TROPHY• Bucknell senior RB Matt DelMauro was recently named a semifi nalist for the National Football Foundation (NFF) William V. Campbell Trophy. DelMauro is one of 135 semifi nalists across all divisions of college football.• This is the 10th straight year a Bison has been named a semifi nalist for the Campbell Trophy.• Bucknell’s Travis Nissley was one of 16 fi nalists in 2010.• DelMauro has more than 1,100 rushing yards in his career and more than 1,300 all-purpose yards. He has 13 rushes for 70 yards this season.• DelMauro is an accounting and fi nancial management major who was a Capital One Academic All-District and Academic All-Patriot League selection last fall.

ROBERT NAYLOR LEADS TEAM OUT• Bucknell senior DL Robert Naylor suff ered a career-ending spinal injury last November against Lafayette. He returned to the Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium turf prior to the season opener vs. Marist when he led the Bison on their pregame walk from the locker room to the sideline.• Naylor is expected to continue to lead the team on its walk from the locker room to the fi eld throughout the season.• Naylor, who is still involved with the program, posted 16 tackles, two tackles for loss and one sack in 14 career games.

• Bucknell shut out Marist for a second straight year and extended

the Red Foxes’ conseutive scoreless streak against the Bison to 135

minutes, 35 seconds.

• C.J. Williams ran for 131 yards — 114 of which came in the second

half — to record his 10th career 100-yard outing.

• Bucknell won its season opener for a fi fth consecutive season and

improved to 8-2 in season openers over the last 10 years.

• After totaling just 111 yards of total off ense in the fi rst half, Bucknell

recorded 260 in the second half, including 162 on the ground.

• Bucknell’s three scoring drives totaled 36 plays and took 18:11 off

the clock. The Bison’s other nine drives featured 41 plays and were

less than 18 combined minutes in length.

• Four diff erent Bison had a sack in the game.

• Bret Berg had three pass breakups for Bucknell, the most by a Bison

player since 2013.

• Robert Naylor, who is recovering from a spine injury suff ered last

season, led the Bison onto the fi eld at the start of the game.

• Bucknell’s defense totaled 10 tackles for loss.

• Freshmen Andrew Owers (5 catches for 59 yards) and Alan Butler (2

catches for 44 yards) combined for seven of Bucknell’s 15 receptions

in the contest.

• Three fi eld goals were blocked in the game, including two by the

Bison (Abdullah Anderson and Bryan Marine).

• Bucknell improved to 10-1 all-time against Marist.
