Right click and select Add New

to create a new folder under the

required Hydraulic Symbols

category.





Enter Folder NameEnter Folder Name

Enter the name of the new folder

and click OK.

Select the new folder and click

Build New Symbol from the Add

New Symbol drop-down menu.

keys, position the required shapes

accurately to create the symbol.

drop-down menu.

This option groups all the

individual shapes into one entity

or symbol.

If the symbol you create does not

have connection points, then they

need to be added.

After creating the symbol as

required in Visio, return to the

Library Manager.

Ensure that the previously created

folder is selected.

Select Add New Symbol from the

Add New Symbol drop-down

menu.





Select ApplicationSelect Application

Select the appropriate application.





Select Component TypeSelect Component type

Select the appropriate component

type.





Select SymbolSelect Symbol

If the symbol created is stackable,

then select the Is stackable

symbol checkbox, else leave it

unchecked.

Then, click the Symbol button.

Select the newly created symbol,

then click OK to add the new

symbol into the library.

The created symbol gets added to

the selected folder in the library.
