How To Get The Most Out Of The ProgramFollowing is a range of activities that can be used either singularly or in combinations to build growth within your business and pull your customers into your store. There are so many great options! How about networking at sporting events to say “thank you” to your best customers or introduce potential new customers to your team. You’ll need to keep in mind how best to use networking events as an asset to build better relationships or grow new business. Also consider events that a customer’s wife or partner may enjoy, activities such as Race Days, Vibes in the Vines or concert tickets. You could also use these funds as an incentive for your staff to either sell more or as a gesture of appreciation for exceptional work by your team. If there is an activity you’re interested in that’s not mentioned in this brochure, please give your Prysmian Business Development Manager a call.

Planning Your Business Growth PromotionDon’t leave your planning until the last minute! To book events or merchandise, please speak to your Prysmian Business Development Manager early. For example to attend the State of Origin you’ll need to plan 2 months in advance, in contrast company or promotional shirts might only take 3 weeks. Indicative prices will be listed for items that are standard, for example cups, shirts and gift cards. Other items harder to anticipate will be listed as “price on request”.

RadioRadio is a powerful medium to advertise on, especially as you can target your advertising to a specific audience. Different radio stations have different formats, from news/talk to a variety of music, aimed at different demographics. A very large percentage of your customers will have radios on while at work or travelling in their work vans. The combination of radio and print campaign can make your advertising more effective. Prysmian has negotiated with these great companies, all you have to do is work out the invoice point where your customer receives a gift card. Tip - Smaller amounts, for example $50 are better than one large amount as more of your customers will receive a gift from you.

Staff TrainingPrysmian has a staff training program that aims to improve the skills of your staff. The program includes a 2.5 day training session commencing on a Sunday with a bonding session and meet a ‘Legend’, product training, factory tour, selling skills, communication skills and opportunities to improve your business.

Sponsorship - Supporting ApprenticeshipsYour organisation may want to sponsor a local initiative, for example, developing a scholarship program for the support of apprentices employed by your customers. Joint BrandingThe Promotion and Advertising Rebate has been agreed to by both parties with the goal of building your business. All products and events will have the Prysmian brand associated with the promotion before approval is given. All money to support the listed activities and products in this brochure must be financed by the joint Promotion and Advertising Rebate. If you are unsure if your store is entitled to support, contact your head office, regional manager or Prysmian Business Development Manager.

Approval ProcessBefore you commence a campaign you will need to speak with your Regional or Head Office to confirm you have funds available, and agree to the best use for these funds. Prysmian will manage these funds and activities on your behalf. All business growth activities need to come from the joint Promotional and Advertising Fund - no requests can be made for promotional support outside of this fund.

AdministrationIf you decide to develop a promotion with prizes and giveaways you will need to consider lottery permits. Each state is different, licences and costs will be the responsibility of each distributor. Prysmian will do its best to maximise your value from the Promotional and Advertising Fund, a Prysmian staff member will have the responsibility of managing your activities.

Prysmian will always attempt to maximise the value from your Promotion and Advertising Fund, depending on the size of your promotion Prysmian may need to charge a small fee on the total cost to cover the additional resource needed to manage your promotion.
