It’s through your generosity that we been able to complete projects, say “yes” to new opportunities and lay a strong foundation for the future. The donors who particularly embody this last point are those who have made a significant commitment to the Building a Legacy Together capital campaign through multi-year pledges. The leadership of these faithful supporters gives us great hope that we will see the fruition of this campaign soon.

Leadership is the thread that has been woventhroughout the fabric of the two years covered in this report. I hope through the words, pictures and graphs provided here, you will be encouraged about where Heritage has been and the course it has set for the future. Thank you for making exceptional Christian education a priority!

Grace and Peace,

John Davis

Class of 2017

Class of 2018

Big things have been happening at Heritage Christian Schools, so we bring you this big biennial report. Like most nonprofit organizations, Heritage usually publishes this type of document annually, but we’ve been a bit busy:

◊ Writing a school-wide leadership curriculum◊ Challenging students with more service opportunities◊ Growing enrollment◊ Establishing a strategic plan that will take us into the next decade◊ Demonstrating the school’s integrity through a rigorous accreditation process◊ Raising funds for a campus expansion

So, please forgive us if we’ve been a little preoccupied! But, through it all, we’ve never forgotten the donors that support the school’s mission of training and inspiring servant leaders through exceptional Christ-centered education and programs. There are many of you and you have been vital to the success of these past two years.

In 2016, the faculty and staff of Heritage Christian School began building an age-appropriate leadership training curriculum to be delivered at every level of the school. The Leadership Trek was finalized in Spring2018 and it will be fully implemented during the 2018-2019 school year.
