Tank Frame Compliance
• Finite Element Analysis Investigation to confirm the tank mounting frame robust,
safe and compliant with the relevant regulations.
• Assembly must absorb accelerations of ±6.6g in the direction of travel
and ±5g horizontally perpendicular to the direction of travel (EC79 & EU406).
• Complete: Model descriptions, software, simulation assumptions,
material properties, loading cases, fasteners, boundary conditions
& investigation method.

• Arcola-developed telemetry system
• Logging and remote-monitoring of any
signal on CANbus
• Data availability critical for design
validation
• Facilitates effective support of vehicles on
trial or in service.

Hydrogen fuel cell system build, installation & maintenance at the Michelin Scotland Innovation Parc. The plan is for a 30,000sqft facility with state-of-the-art hydrogen fuel cell powertrain testing facilities.
Having worked in Scotland for many years, Arcola Energy recognises both the achievements in hydrogen projects to date and the opportunity in Scotland for development of hydrogen for energy storage and uses in transport. We are delighted this year to be opening a new facility at Michelin Scotland Innovation Parc. The planned facility will house product development, manufacturing and aftermarket activities, including proposed hydrogen fuel cell powertrain testing capabilities. Working with our existing teams in London, Liverpool and around the UK, our new Scottish team will be be dedicated to reducing time to market for a wide range of hydrogen fuel cell heavy vehicles for both Scottish and global markets. Through our permanent presence, we look forward to strengthening our supply chain and customer relationships in Scotland.
