QUALIFICATION AND RECOGNITION

COURSE CONTENT

• Physically fit• Literate• Completed Form 3• Age 17–35 years old for Youth Programme• Age 18–55 years old for Construction Personnel Programme• Possessed a valid Construction Personnel Registration Card and 6 months minimum experience in related field for Construction Personnel Programme• Scaffold Erection Level 2: Applicant must possesed Level 1 (SCF1) certification or equivalent or registered with Department of Occupational Safety & Health (DOSH)

Trainee who successfully completed the training and passed the assessment will be awarded the Skills Competency Certificate by CIDB. Trainee is eligible to be employed as skilled worker and register with Department of Occupational Safety and Health Malaysia (DOSH). DOSH has the right to determine the registration requirement.

ENTRY REQUIREMENT

LEVEL 1 LEVEL 2

• Introduction to workplace / workshop safety and health practice and basic first aid• Prepare scaffold components and equipment.• Erect and install crawling ladder, independent scaffold and putlog scaffold.• Erect and install birdcage scaffold, trestle scaffold and putlog scaffold.• Erect and install gangway/ramp structure and safety netting.• Dismantle independent scaffold, tower scaffold (mobile/static), trestle scaffold, scaffold with return, birdcage, safety netting and putlog scaffold.• Remove gangway, scaffold safety sign and scaffold birdcage.

• Introduction to workplace/workshop safety and health practice and basic first aid• Water supply enactment• Identify tools and piping materials• Pipe joining methods• Identify sanitary components and accessory installation systems• Cold water supply systems• Hot water supply systems• Waste system piping and its installation• Waste system and drainage• Installation of rain water chutes
