Golden sands resort - the pearl of the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. It is located at about 18 km north from Varna, on the territory of the National park Golden sands. The resort has the EU Blue flag award for ecological environment.

Golden sands it is not a casually chosen name for this resort! Beaches with golden fine-grained sand are spread along its coastal line, having total length of about 3, 5 km, and width up to 100 m. The average air temperature in summer is +27-28 Co, and water temperature is about +24-26 Co. Sun and sea baths you can take from May till October. Plenty to do by day or night! Days in the sunshine are followed by evenings in some great venues. There are numerous lively discos and bars, a variety of folk taverns and restaurants. Lots of sports facilities are available too: tennis courts, mini golf, horse riding, jet skis, paragliding, sailing and motor boats, windsurfing, yacht club, water-skiing, banana rides, cycling, bowling and diving (there are two excellent diving centers in the resort). Golden sands resort is a unique place with glorious scenery, wooded hillsides sweeping down to meet one of the worlds most beautiful beaches and the blue sparkling sea.
