HIGHLIGHTS FROM HANDICAMP DINNER
Members who attended the Sloan Handicamp Dinner were pleasantly surprised to find that it was not raining as they arrived. A very nice change for diners and campers alike. Ascot Rotary Club had a great roll up to the dinner which is named after Ron Sloan who started up the Handicamp program here in WA in 1982 The Theme for the Dinner this year was “Mad Hatters” so almost everyone made sure they were dressed accordingly. PDG Jodie Sparks chaired the committee this year and spoke with great passion about the work of the supporters and about how much the campers gained from their involvement in the week. Here are some photos taken at the dinner.
