L’Shana Tova Y’all. The summer has flown by. Our Game Day was fun and hugely successful for Hadassah! Our Dine 2 Donate at Recovery Grill proved to be a great evening for so-cializing. We look forward to everyone’s continued support of Hadassah by participating in our fundraisers and volunteering. Even the smallest of steps are appreciated. Making phone calls, baking for our functions, attending our meet-ings to learn more about us – it all adds up to new friends and more socializing! New ideas and new viewpoints are always welcome.
The holidays are rapidly approaching, and the entire Board wants to take this opportunity to wish one and all a Healthy, Happy, Successful New Year.

The next Book Club Luncheon is set for OCTOBER 16 from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm at the Olive Garden in Tradition (back room). Select your lunch from
their menu (separate checks). The selected book is Memento Park by Mark Sarvas.
This is a story of a second genera-tion Hungarian American’s attempt to re-claim a valuable painting. The
painting may have been looted from his father’s family in Bu-
dapest during World War II. This book is part history, part mystery and deals with heritage, faith, fatherhood and complications of confronting the past. RSVP to Renee Katz at [email protected] or 772-345-2644.

As we plan for the new year, we are reminded of our loved ones who are no longer with us. One way to honor them is to put a leaf on our memorial tree. The $18 fee is a donation to medical research. We also have a tree to honor a person’s accomplishments or for just being in your life. Trees are published in our bulletin and on our website for one year. See this year’s trees are on pages 7 and 8.
If you would like to put a leaf on either of our trees, please let Cheryll Best know what you want inscribed on the tree and send a check payable to Hadassah to 10162 SW Fernwood Avenue, Port St. Lucie, FL 34987. For more information, contact Cheryll at [email protected].
