    (February 17, 2013)

    First Sunday of Lent

Living Faith in February: Luke 4:1-13

No evil shall befall you, nor shall affliction come near your tent. For to his

angels he has given command about you, that they guard you in all your ways.(Ps. 91)

Where do you see the signs of Gods presence in your day-to-day activities?

There will be a diocesan-wide celebration of the Sacrament of Reconciliation on

Wednesday, February 20, 2013. Will you take the opportunity to attend and invite

    someone to go with you?

When youre tempted, where do you find the strength to resist? Who are the angels

    in your life?

school cafeteria. Hosts will be John & Helen Deibel & Barb Vargo.

318 Holy Hours were kept before the Blessed Sacrament this past week.

The Eucharist, in the Mass and outside of the Mass, is the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ, and is

therefore deserving of the worship that is given to the living God, and to him alone.

Pope John Paul II. Please consider spending an hour with Our Lord. If not now, when? 330-212-0926 Judy Soltis

CATHOLIC CHARITIES 2013 ANNUAL APPEALThis is the final weekend of the in-pew portion of the 2013 Catholic Charities Annual Appeal. All who have not received the mailing, or have not had a chance to respond to it, are asked to

consider making a generous pledge to support the ministries and services provided by Catholic Charities. If you have received the mailing, please respond to it. There is a box on the in-pew envelope to indicatethat you have responded by mail.

This years appeal theme is: We Welcome, WeServe, We Support. We ask that each parishioner consider the blessing God has given to us as well as thegood that we can accomplish when we act with the unity and strength of our faith. The impact ofCatholic Charities cannot be understated. Over 276,000 people from every suburb and city in NortheastOhio benefit from their programs and services each year. Please consider a generous gift to the CatholicCharities 2013 Annual Appeal, and please pray for the success of this important Appeal.
