SAFE ENVIRONMENT TRAINING

Save the Date! On Monday, August 15 at 6:30 PM, our parish will be hosting a “Safe Environment” Protecting God’s Children Training Session in the Multi-Purpose Room in the School. To register for this session, please go to http://

Families in Action continues to partner with the ACT in

Faith of Greater West Chester Community Cupboard on behalf of St Maximilian Kolbe Parish. Each month we will continue to collect items to share with our neighbors in need. For the month of July, we ask you to consider bringing contributions of laundry detergent as you attend at daily or weekly Mass. Items may be left in the red Families in Action bin by the front door of the church or in the Kids in Action bin in the Copy Room of the school. CALLING ALL MEN OF THE PARISH

The annual men’s retreat for Chester County men is being held Friday August 12th through Sunday August 14th at Malvern Retreat House. Over 200 men from surrounding parishes in Chester County will participate, however, there is space for many more. As many as 10-15 men from St. Max. will attend. This is an excellent opportunity to for family members (you, your sons or grandsons, your father and grandfathers and other male relatives) to join in a spiritual and prayerful activity. Music and Family all-day music festival will be held Saturday, September 24, 2016 on the grounds of Daylesford Abbey in Paoli from 11am-9pm. activity booklet, a resume template and interactive exercises to reinforce skills.

Dress comfortably, as there is lots of floor work.

CLASS SIZE IS LIMITED – FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED

Please know that all instructors are background checked and child abuse cleared. Also, we need a parent volunteer to be onsite in addition to the instructor in order for the class to take place. If there is no parent, there will be no class. The day can be split into AM and PM shifts-indicate your preference. You are not part of the class, but will be in an adjoining room or nearby outside in case of an emergency. Bring a book and a lawn chair. KOLBE CARE MINISTRY FOR THE HOMEBOUND

The Kolbe Care ministry is offers visits and outreach to the home-bound in our parish and relief visits for caregivers of parishion-ers. This can be a one-time visit or something more regular, a phone call or letter.
