    Who in your life exemplifies the virtue of humility? Perhaps you mightaffirms/thank him or her.

    What dangers lie in making comparison about our spiritual state to that of another? Are suchcomparisons ever helpful? If so, when or how?

    How or through whom have you experienced Gods mercy?326 Holy Hours were kept with Our Lord in Eucharistic Adoration last week. Be sure to

    mark your calendar for Saturday, November 2nd for the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass at 4 pm.

    We will be celebrating 50 years of Perpetual Adoration with Mass and Pot Luck dinner to be

    held in the SAC. Please call Judy Soltis to RSVP at 330-212-0926. All are welcome to attend.

    A "Caring and Sharing" session for those struggling with divorce, separation or widowhood will

    be held on Monday, October 28 from 7:30-9:00 pm at Immaculate Heart of Mary's ConventBuilding, 1945 Portage Trail in Cuyahoga Falls. Marlene Maruna, a Licensed Independent Social

    Worker, will facilitate this session. This event is open at no charge to people of all faiths. Forinformation call Denny at 330-285-9824 or Sharon 330-612-3635.

    The St Augustine Mens Fellowship will continue the highly acclaimed series Catholicism by Fr.

    (Insert Graphic 2102-0003.tif) St. Augustine Church will offer a special All Souls DayMass at 11:00am on Saturday, November 2 for the repose of the souls of those whohave passed away during the past year through October 8, 2013. You are especiallyinvited to attend the Mass at which time the names of the deceased will be read and aspecial candle lit for each one. Just as a joy that is shared is doubled, a sorrow that isshared is halved. Please join us for this special time of healing, support andcelebration of life and faith.

    Devotion to our Blessed Mother under the title of Our Lady of Fatima is cancelled for November 2.

    There will however be some Fatima prayers and a rosary said following the 8:30am Mass Saturday. All

    are encouraged to stay and participate following Mass.

    Join us as we journey together through Catholicism, Thursday, November 7 when we

    discover Indispensable Men: Peter, Paul & the Missionary Adventure. Registration forms

    can be found on the bookrack in the back of the church, sessions will be held at Immaculate

    Conception Church, Kenmore in Waldesien Hall from 6:30-9:00pm. Enjoy a meal at 6:00pm

    followed by the session. All are welcome to attend.

    Cards Anyone? Join us Friday, November 8 as we play Euchre.Cards begin at 6:30pm in the school cafeteria. A light meal will beprovided. Beginners and experienced players are welcome tocome and try a hand. Come and enjoy an evening of fellowship and fun!

    Attention Youth Group Members:Just a reminder the Jr. High Youth Group meets every Wednesday from7-8:30pm in Room #101 in the School. All students grades 6-8 arewelcome and encouraged to attend.

    The next High School Youth Group date will be November 17 from 6-8pm in Room#103 in the School. This is open to students grades 9-12, lets make this a fun, faithfilled experience, bring friendsthey are always welcome.

    The next ST. AUGUSTINEWOMEN OF FAITH meetings are scheduled for 10-11:30 am and

    6:30-8:30 pm on Tuesday, November 19. (Meetings will be held in the Rectoryand school cafeteria respectively.) Deacon Robin Adair will give a presentation on

    Ten Commandments for Daily Living. All women of the parish are invited

    to attend.

    UPDATE: Please pray for the inquirers as they seek to know Jesus and grow in knowledge and

    love for Him as experienced through Catholicism. Parishioners are needed who are able toprovide refreshments to serve at break time. Simple desserts, fruit, cheese and crackers

    any goody is fine (for 10 people). Beverages and paper products are provided. Please call

    Karen to volunteer for a Monday-night snack (745-0011 x 18). Thank you.

    The Elizabeth Ministry is still in need of donations. Items needed can behomemade or store bought. A few suggestions are; baskets, cards, bibs,books, pacifiers, rubber ducks, wash clothes, rosaries, blankets, afghansetc., anything that has to do with babies. Your donations will be placed

    in the welcome baskets provided to our newly baptized. Please help fill thebasketsitems can be dropped off at the rectory during regular business hours.

    Community Corner Barberton Area Community Ministries items for the Month of October is canned fruit;

    peaches, pears, mixed, apricots etc.

    Springtime of Hopesitem for the month of October is Toothpaste & Toothbrushes.Please place your donations inside the bench in front of the giving tree in the vestibule. Your

    thoughtfulness is greatly appreciated.

    Hurdle Lifes Challenges. Sacred Heart of Jesus in Wadsworth invites all men and high school boysto a half-day conference on Saturday Morning, November 9, 2013 featuring Father Mike McCandless of

    Borromeo and St. Mary Seminaries. Pope Francis is providing us with practical and sage advice to help

    us. Father Mike, will share with us our Popes guidance. Last year, a capacity crowd of 180 people

    attended. We expect more this year. So, there is Limited space: register now. Begins with 8:00am Mass,
