Guanajay helping families build patio gardens to provide healthyliving, sustainability, and community development.

December 30: The Cooperative Baptist Fellowship (CBF) supportsmission work around the world through the Offering for GlobalMissions. Cindy and Eddy Rubles are CBF missionaries working inIndonesia with people affected by the 2007 earthquake and tsunami.They help build earthquake resistant schools and houses, employinglocal businesses to provide materials for construction.

Then, sit down with your calendar and make a list ofall of your planned activities for the next four weeks. Mark the onesthat are spiritual in nature, that help you remember the true reasonfor the season. Do you need to add more spiritually focused activities?Do you need to eliminate some of the other, stress-inducing andconsumer-focused activities? Make those adjustments to yourcalendar now, and remember the true reason we celebrate Advent.
