If there s anyonewhodoesn't noarhe Church's tandon: marriage, ivorce,gaysand esbians,boftion ndotherhot button ssuespleaseaise ourhands.Behind ll of the abovessuesthere is a boatload f huft, pain,dasheddreams o saynothingof suicides, ashing nd bullying, hild,adultand spousal buse o nameonlypartof the pain hat isall aroundus. Oh, sure,we are against ll of that butthe public aceof the Churchs sayingo all the abovepeople go away. Allof the abovepeople hould e nthe front rows of our parishesbecausehey are themost needfulof the healing ouchof JesusChristandfaith-filled ommunitiesf suppoft.I will give the Institutional hurch he benefitof thedoubtby saying his maynotbe hemessage,o away,that it wants o preent; but this is the messagehat isbeing eceivedby many f not the majorityof peoplenvarious ifecrbis, Somehow, s a healing nd eachingChurchwe have to find new ways to frame thequestion, o proclaim he truth without denigratingthose who disagree.
