Dairy Price Ratios and Slaughter

Milk to feed price ratio has greatly improved with lower feed costs and higher milk prices — this December’s milk/feed price ratio was the highest December ratio since 2009

Dairy slaughter during 2013 was 0.5% above slaughter in 2012—slaughter during the first two weeks this year has been down 10.2% from the same time last year
