WeightAn ideal solution for pipelaying, shallow-water salvage and towing and draught reduction, the buoyancy of each Inflatable Buoyancy Unit (IBU) can be controlled from the surface as required during and after the operation. This gives users the ability to safely apply and remove the IBU to the load at zero capacity, only activating the buoyancy when it is needed.

SEAFLEX™ IBUsFlexible Multi-Purpose Buoyancy

Designed for laying steel or HDPE pipelines and general support at or near the surface, Mono Buoyancy Units (MBUs) are attached to the load via a single point of connection. This massively reduces the time it takes to rig them up compared to multi-attachment alternatives. It is also possible to lift through or moor onto SEAFLEX™ MBUs.

The LB type bags are smaller and easy to fit inside most types of life boats and are supplied in a set, complete with accessories for remote filling and draining. The GT type bags are specially designed for best fit on standard gangways.
