BURBAGE PRIMARY SCHOOL CHRISTMAS COUNTDOWN 2014
1st December 2014
Dear Parents,
Thank you to everyone for supporting the ‘Christmas Dress-up day’ on Friday. The children looked very
festive and the gifts they brought in for the PTA Tombola will ensure the stall is a popular destination at next
Thursday’s Christmas Fair. We look forward to seeing many of you there!
Our thanks also go to Mrs McGarry, Mrs Renshaw, Mrs Smith and Mrs Ashbrook for putting on the excellent
‘Nativity 2’ Film Club on Thursday. It was enjoyed by all the children who attended.
As this is such a busy time of year in school, we have put together this list of events for the rest of term. We
hope you find it useful. (The information is also held on our website on the CALENDAR tab:
http://www.burbageprimary.org.uk/wilts/primary/burbage/site/pages/calendar ).
Christmas Countdown 2014!
The month of December – Burbage Primary School Christmas Postal Service is running.
Children may post Christmas cards for their school friends and staff in our school post box outside the school

on a rota to empty the box at lunchtime each day and deliver them. Final day for posting is Thursday 18th Dec.
The month of December – POSADA – Mary and Joseph – Classes will take it in turns to look after Mary
and Joseph as they journey towards the Nativity service in Church on
Christmas Eve. If your child offers to bring these special visitors home for the
evening, please encourage them to write in the book what they did whilst
having a sleepover at your house. A Children’s Society Christingle savings box is being sent home this week.
