DESCRIPTION

Working with personnel at The Rapid Transit Center, I learned all of the procedures of the public transportation system. I then drafted a power point presentation that leaned heavily on the use of images in order to increase the comprehension of the bus system among refugees with differing levels of English proficiency. Used in conjunction with maps and schedule books provided by the The Rapid personnel and a hands-on experience, the main aim of this curriculum is to teach refugees how to use all the bus lines available for future use.
