Purpose: to convince the audience to accept/
agree with your proposal, idea, point of view, etc.

An effective persuasive presentation will: 1. Offer a solution to a controversy, dispute,
dilemma, problem or opportunity. 2. Present sufficient logic, evidence and
emotion to sway the audience to your view. 3. Utilize effective selling techniques (see
reading – “Types of Presentations”.
