No. 0451) Speaker Profile Dr. SHA’RI MOHD YUSOF has a degree in Industrial Engineering from University of Miami, USA, M.Sc. in Integrated Quality Systems and Ph.D. in Total Quality Manage- ment from the University of Birmingham. He is a Member of the Institute of Engineers Malaysia (MIEM), a Registered Professional Engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and also a Senior Member of the American Society for Quality (ASQ). He is now a Professor of Quality Engineering and Management in the Department of Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, UTM Skudai. He has more than five years industrial expe- rience before joining UTM. After graduating from his first degree, he spent one year in Japan for training in Mitsubishi Motors Corporation. Upon completion of the train- ing, he worked in the Production Depart- ment and QC Department in PROTON. Dr Sha’ri has been involved in training a number of companies in Quality Tools, ISO 9000, Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Total Quality Management (TQM). Who should attend?
