The left slide out to navigate to other modules would be an overlay i.e. not the blue bar but a bar on top. There is talk about using the blue bar for part of a file menu pull out like in MS Outlook.

Hoverover state applies on all links only. If a module has sub modules only the sub modules will be clickable and have hoverover states. If the module has no sub modules then it will be clickable and have a hoverover state.

*If there are sub modules could these appear on hoverover? This can save space.
