    Quality control is a process that is used to ensure a certain levelof quality in a product or service.

    The quality of aircraft depends on good design, documentation, andelectronic record keeping to meet Federal Aviation Administration(FAA) regulations and certification requirements.

    The windshields, wing leading edges, engines and other critical

    components must meet the FAR 25 (Federal Aviation Regulation) birdstrike requirements before the aircraft is certified for commercial use.
