Electric VehiclesWith the world attention shifting to the adoption of cleaner technologies with minimal

environmental impact, the future of the electric vehicles industry seems bright, even though with

some challenges. Today everyone is talking about Electric vehicles. The world wide trend shows

that the day may not be far when most vehicles on the road could be electric!

According to Niti Aayog, the government aspires for a greener India by emphasizing on the sale of

only electric vehicles by 2030. Or have a large percentage of EVs on the road by then. This would

go a long way in addressing India's clean fuel ideology and reduce high pollution levels, with

proper charging infrastructure being a key to this EV surge.

While all of us jeep talking about Electric Cars and Buses, various independent and government

surveys have shown that besides a glorious future for electric cars and buses, it is the two and

three‐wheeler electric vehicles that would experience the greatest growth. India currently has an

estimated 1.5 million electrically powered three‐wheelers on the road. India is also the third‐

largest automobile market in the world making it the Electric Vehicles segment a strong

consumer‐driven business. Electric is the NEXT Gen technology for India.

MethodologyWhile there are several seminars and workshops on theories and policies of EVs, this workshop puts maximum emphasis on what EVs can mean to you in real!While it will cover the required theory the real reason for you to attend is how those theories and policies can be put to productive use by you

The workshop is totally experiential where participants will be given sample live examples of various entrepreneurshipmodelsthat can be worked.

Participants of the past batches of this workshop said they immensely gained from the actual and live cases they worked on during the workshop

The participants will be given an opportunity to pursue various coursesbeing introduced by IGTR in EVs design, manufacturing, operation and maintenance for the potential job opportunities in the same.

Participants who would like to start an EV business will be given an opportunity to be incubated at IGTR Incubation centre, where they will receive entire support for setting up their business.

Workshop Leaders

The workshop will be moderated by Mr. Ravinder Bhan, the well known entrepreneurship & career coach and mentor who has led over 200 workshops on various subjects. Ravinder has 33+ Years corporate experience at senior management in various MNCs in India and abroad. He is the Training Expert on KPMG panel for upgrading of Technology Centers under the Ministry of MSME Govt. of India. Ravinder is the Chair, Taksha Institute for Entrepreneurship, USA and Vice Chairman at India SME Forum.

Mr. Hemant Padhye, having 32+ years experience in the areas of automotive engineering, powertrains and program management. He has worked with organizations like General Motors, TATA Motors, Bajaj Auto, Visteon (USA), KOEL (USA). His domain expertise includes Electric Vehicles, Powertrains, eDrives and Automotive Product Development. He has handled multiple vehicle and powertrain programs including localization & development of powertrains. He has also handled multiple programs for engine sub systems. Hemant has done his mechanical engineering from Nagpur University and post graduation in marketing from Pune University.

Mr.Prabudha Roy, a BITS Pilani Alumina of 1978 is Senior Managing Consultant from IBM – San Francisco with a demonstrated history of helping organization accelerate adoption and avoid disruption in the people side when implementing projects that bring about enterprise‐wide changes. Prior to this Prabudha worked in L&T India and USA for over 30 years. Prabudha is certified as a Consultant in Blockchain Essentials and Design Thinking Practitioner from IBM, USA.
