On April 1st he started the position of Construction Foreman. Brandon has been with the District since May of 2009. He was hired as an apprentice lineman aſter graduating from Northeast Community College. He achieved the Journeyman Lineman status in 2015. Congratulations Brandon! New Construction ForemanBrandon Smith began a new position with Butler Public Power District. On April 1st he started the position of Construction Foreman.

Brandon has been with the District since May of 2009. He was hired as an apprentice lineman aft er graduating from Northeast Community College. He achieved the Journeyman Lineman status in 2015. Congratulations Brandon!

Congratulations 2020 Graduates!

Madison Hoeft is a 2020 graduate of David City Public School. She is the daughter of Scott & Sandy Hoeft of David City. Madison stayed very active in school. She was a member of the Platinum Dance Team, cheerleader, Stay-U and participated in vol-leyball and one act. She also represented DCHS for the Breast Cancer Senior Photo for the Butler County Health Care Center. Madison is currently a cadet on the David City Volunteer Fire Department and is a Certified Nursing Assistant at St. Joseph Villa. In the fall Madison will be attending Northeast Community College in Norfolk in the Nursing program and plans to transfer to UNMC to obtain her Bachelor’s degree. Scott Hoeft is a Lead Lineman for Butler PPD.

Darian Krenk is a 2020 graduate of Aquinas High School. She is the daughter of Ga-len Krenk and Renae Krenk of David City. Darian has been involved in softball and basketball while at Aquinas. She is also on the Student Council and has served as Treasurer for the Student Council. Darian was accepted to play in the 2020 Central Community College All-Star softball and basketball games. She also was Aquinas’s Super Senior for softball and Lincoln Journal Star named her as Honorable Mention for softball as well. In the fall Darian will be attending University of Nebraska in Lincoln. Galen Krenk is Butler PPD’s Warehouseman.

Kaley Steager is a 2020 graduate of Aquinas High School. Her parents are Bill and Trish Steager of David City. Kaley stayed very active in school by partici-

pating in volleyball, basketball, track and softball. Kaley was also part of the Teens for Life group. In the fall Kaley will be attending Central Community College to pursue a degree in Nursing. Bill Steager is the Tree Foreman for Butler PPD.
