Sewing Instructions1. Sew (1) 2” x 39” Fabric B strip to each side of (1) Fabric A panel. Sew (1) 2” x 37 ½” Fabric B strip to the top and to the bottom of the Fabric A panel to make the Center Block (Fig. 1). Trim the block to measure 36 ½” x 40 ½”.
2. Sew (1) 2 ½” Fabric O square to the left side of (1) 2 ½” Fabric E square to make (1) OE strip. Sew (1) 2 ½” Fabric M square to the left side of (1) 2 ½” Fabric N square to make (1) MN strip. The sew MN strip to the top of the OE strip to make (1) Unit 1 square (Fig. 2).
3. Sew (1) 2 ½” Fabric C square to the left side of (1) 2 ½” Fabric N square to make (1) CN strip. Sew (1) 2 ½” Fabric O square to the left side of (1) 2 ½” Fabric D square to make (1) OD strip. The sew OD strip to the top of the CN strip to make (1) Unit 2 square (Fig. 3).
4. Sew (1) 2 ½” Fabric O square to the left side of (1) 2 ½” Fabric I square to make (1) OI strip. Sew (1) 2 ½” Fabric H square to the left side of (1) 2 ½” Fabric N square to make (1) HN strip. The sew HN strip to the top of the OI strip to make (1) Unit 3 square (Fig. 4).
5. Sew (1) 2 ½” Fabric K square to the left side of (1) 2 ½” Fabric N square to make (1) KN strip. Sew (1) 2 ½” Fabric O square to the left side of (1) 2 ½” Fabric B square to make (1) OB strip. The sew OB strip to the top of the KN strip to make (1) Unit 4 square (Fig. 5).
6. Place (1) 2 ½” Fabric P square on the bottom of (1) 2 ½” x 4 ½” Fabric C strip, right sides together (Fig. 6). Sew across the diagonal of the smaller square from the upper left corner to the lower right corner (Fig. 6). Flip open the triangle formed and press. Trim away the excess fabric from behind the triangle ¼” away from the sewn seam to make (1) Unit 5 strip (Fig. 7). Repeat to make (6) Unit 5 strips total.
7. Repeat Step 6 and refer to Figures 8-12 for fabric identification and placement to make (6) Unit 6 strips, (7) Unit 7 strips, (7) Unit 8 strips, (6) Unit 9 strips and (6) Unit 10 strips.

8. Place (1) 2 ½” Fabric N square on the bottom of (1) 2 ½” x 4 ½” Fabric D strip, right sides together (Fig. 13). Sew across the diagonal of the smaller square from the upper right corner to the lower left corner (Fig. 13). Flip open the triangle formed and press. 12. Sew together (2) Unit 22 squares, (2) Unit 21 squares, (2) Unit 20 squares, (2) Unit 19 squares, (1) Unit 18 square and (1) Unit 17 square to make (1) Left Side Border Strip (Fig. 26). Pay attention to the unit orientations.
13. Sew together (2) Unit 20 squares, (2) Unit 21 squares, (2) Unit 22 squares, (2) Unit 17 squares, (1) Unit 18 square and (1) Unit 19 square to make (1) Right Side Border Strip (Fig. 27). Pay attention to the unit orientations.
14. Sew together (1) Unit 1 square, (2) Unit 17 squares, (2) Unit 18 squares, (2) Unit 19 squares, (1) Unit 20 square, (1) Unit 21 square, (1) Unit 22 square and (1) Unit 2 square to make (1) Top Border Strip (Fig. 28). Pay attention to the unit orientations.
15. Sew together (1) Unit 4 square, (2) Unit 20 squares, (2) Unit 19 squares, (2) Unit 18 squares, (1) Unit 17 square, (1) Unit 22 square, (1) Unit 21 square and (1) Unit 3 square to make (1) Bottom Border Strip (Fig. 29). Pay attention to the unit orientations.

Quilt Layout
Quilt Top Assembly (Refer to the Quilt Layout while assembling.)16. Sew (1) Left Side Border Strip to the left side of the Center Block. Pay attention to the strip orientation. Sew (1) Right Side Border Strip to the right side of the Center Block. Pay attention to the strip orientation. Sew (1) Top Border Strip and (1) Bottom Border Strip to the top and to the bottom of the Center Block. Pay attention to the strip orientations.
17. Sew (1) 2” x 48 ½” Fabric B strip to each side of the Center Block. Sew (1) 2 ½” x 47 ½” Fabric B strip to the top and to the bottom of the Center Block.
18. Sew (1) 5 ½” x 52 ½” Fabric T strip to each side of the Center Block. Sew (1) 5 ½” x 57 ½” Fabric T strip to the top and to the bottom of the Center Block to make the quilt top.
19. Layer and quilt as desired.
20. Sew the (6) 2 ½” x WOF Fabric J strips together, end to end with 45-degree seams, to make the binding. Fold this long strip in half lengthwise with wrong sides together and press.
21. Bind as desired.
